With all due respect, you don't know who you were around. You only saw 3 that you knew of. You are in tune with what was going on, but there are some parts you may have missed. Probably avoided them but you missed it for sure.

I work that pit like a futures exchange. There were very few active betters and I knew them all. There were just a few instances of potential dumps...then again how many free 400 plus dollar bets does it take to make a few thousand?Therein lies the beauty and the rub.

Yes I paid. I am a man of my word. You can bet I would have got mine as well. I am not one to put up with BS. I have way to many friends there and had one of them with me at the table. Allen Hopkins is a friend of mine as well so things would have been OK.
I doubt he was dumping but he is piss poor at it if he was. He won the match but didn't shoot a combo which you would have shot and therefore he dumped.
Back to reality.

I have been pretty straight-forward in what I have said here and, again, I don't take it lightly to say someone dumped a game. Do I have enough credibility for you to believe that or do you have me figured for some sort of an idiot?
Your "doubt he was dumping" is based on what exactly? Your view of the pit from St Louis?
And just to be clear(er), I'm not basing that he dumped on his not shooting a combo *I would have shot*. I'm basing it on him not shooting a combo *anyone who wanted an immediate win* would have shot.
That by itself was enough but then there were even a couple of other indicators.

we no longer have a wei table and the one someone linked to earlier didn't work so I will describe the shot.
A Diamond barbox, the 10 ball is about 4 inches out from the side pocket and approx. 1 inch below the side. The 2 ball is about an inch the other side of the foot spot and maybe an inch above the spot, not far from the 10.
You have ball in hand for the easy combo to win.
That was the shot.
I was far from being alone in my disgust.

Let me just say this from years of experience. I have worked the sbe for the past 15 years and alot of the games in the pit are set up.
For those "not in the know" its really how alot of these guys get their cash to keep gambling through the weekend.
They make all this noise in the pit attracting all types of people and they get roped in by wanting to be part of the action by side betting.
Doesnt matter who is playing at any given time some bs can happen.
All of these guys know each other. If player a has $100 worth of side action and player b has $400 worth of side action player a will dump letting player b win collecting $400. Later on during the night player b gives player a $200. They split it.
I have seen it happen a hundred times. Usually its in the bathroom or outside during a smoke break.

I just want to put it out there that I had $200 bet on josh that specific game and I con assure you he wasn't dumping. But I did not take the time to read all this posts but I can say this KENNY BRINGS OUT THE WORST IN PEOPLE. but that does not mean he and josh were together in dumping. Josh just like every other pool player on earth dogs it once in awhile. so don't think just cause he passed up a 2-10 combo that was not DEAD ON JUST TO CLEAR THAT PART UP. but just cause he went for the run out don't mean it was a dump. If we were gonna call everyone out who missed an easy shot and say it was a dump well you can add * of the top players in the world on that list because in the pit at the sbe I witnessed many top players miss easy shots and not get out on easy outs. But that is considered dumping huh? come on people wtf you guys are killing action destroying POOL with these stupid comments and remarks. so if you cant take the loss then DONT BET YOUR MONEY..............PERIOD
Probably has nothing to do with whether or not he'd dump, but I've played Josh Brothers in a regional tournament and found him to be the nicest, most respectful player I've ever met. Period.

I hear Kenny has been betting good in North Jersey with no issue at all. Posting the money and everything with a 3rd party, he got beat for a healthy sum last night. He's got a rep though, I wonder how much of it he actually earned versus what is blown out of proportion. Probably the 80/20 rule, I'm not convinced which side is the 80% though.
ive known both josh and Kenny since they were 15 years old and out the 2 of them I put my money with josh without any fear of him dumping me. but he does dog it though but that's not dumping. but he is a good kid.
