AT SBE: Russian Kenny + Josh Brothers = well, you know

I think another part of the problem is once people figure out how the game is played it's just as enticing to roll the dice as it is with a game that's on the square. I'm sure some people think it's even better. All you have to do is figure out how it's going to go down and place your bet accordingly. Everybody on the rail isn't stupid. It's not just the players that know what's going on. The railbirds keep the funny business going just as much as the players and the stake horses do.

Once again I can't vouch for Kenny but Josh has been a long time friend. I've bet thousands and thousands won and lost and he has always played hard. I was not there to witness what happen so I can't say for sure, but I can honestly say he's not that type of person. He has fallen on some hard times as of late but I still trust him and will put him in any game that I think he has a chance of winning. By no means am I trying to question anybody's word this is just my opinion.

I'd bet on Josh, he's a monster.. If he missed his second time to the table you could make a better case that he was dumping.. I'd give him the benefit of the doubt

The witness is usually pretty familiar with what the situation was.

I like josh and am pretty disappointed to think the story here is true.

I know there is only one person involved in the op that I would trust with my house key though...

I got to play Kenny in the finals of my bracket for the Wed. night warm up. I did not know him and when I get to the table he was there. He ask me if I wanted the looser to give the other the entry fee back to the winner so we would at least get something out of it. I told him sure and I would even split if he wanted to. Of course he said no. He was as nice as anyone has ever been to me while we were playing. I beat him the first set. He got me the 2nd and I won the 3rd set for the cash. He never said a word out the way and I herd him tell his buddy that he had no reason to be upset and that I just played good. He shook my hand and that was it. Then later on I saw him in the pit when Josh was playing and he was a totally different person. It didn't take me long to get my fill of that and I left. I did see the kid (Zac) and ask if he had herd anything about his money and he said no. What can you do. Anyway I had a great time and won a little. Thats all that matters to me.

I bet you paid him without incident too right?

Another nice move. I'll have to remember that one.

What do you think would have happened had he won?

Maybe the check would have been in the mail....maybe not.

I bet a c-note on Josh

RK bet about $600 on Joey

Josh came to the table with ball-in-hand and a simple 2-10 combo available into the side for the win. He didn't shoot it.

Instead he made 4 or 5 balls, missed, and left Joey a cosmo out.

Joey rattled the 7 in the corner.

Kenny just about swallowed his tongue.

Josh made the last three balls.

I won and was disgusted over what I witnessed.

So the guy won but he went for the runout instead of a combination and therefore he dumped? That makes no sense. What am I missing?

The dump didn't work out?

If you find out someone tried to murder you but failed, was there still something to be bothered about?

Help your buddy Josh out and see if he wants to play Oscar here in St Louis

this might go over the heads of some people but when you back someone you are laying odds on the money and need almost a lock to win to do this. so it rarely ever is a good deal.

and if you are betting on the side you still have to have way the best of it to bet as the dump has to be figured in and the fact that you got a bet down means you probably dont have any or much the best of the bet.

so only playing yourself, or having a lock bet is the only action you should be in, otherwise going to play some dice is a better bet for you and you always get paid.

Okay, so I have to share this, too.

In one of my matches I was playing a young guy who was a bit of a punk. Not apparent at first but he finished leaving no doubts that he was.

I had my score sheet and he had his. In the 3rd set he started sharing mine. He marked an extra win for himself and I called him on it and so he grabbed the sheet and went storming off to the tourney director's stand. I followed.

She listened and explained how< I forget, odd or even meant he was incorrect and so he started throwing a hissy fit of sorts.

What came out of his outh next was priceless.

He says to the lady director: "Russian Kenny was there watching and he can back me up on this".

I quickly chimed in saying "so now Russian Kenny is the go-to source for reliable information?"

The TD rolled her eyes at the kid as she said "You have to be kidding."

You can't make this crap up.

best,
brian kc <----- RK turned out to be like a burr in my shorts all weekend. amazing for such a large venue.

what you're missing is that the object of the game is to win and Josh had that on a silver platter with ball in hand and an easy as pie 2-10 combo into the side. he didn't shoot it.

he then made a few balls and handed the table over to his opponent when he missed.

making sense yet?

Have you ever seen a dump where the guy dumping ran the last 3 balls to win the money? If so, what were you drinking at the time?

are you having some drinks?

if he *didn't* make those last three balls after not taking the easy combo to win in the beginning, he probably would have been strung up then and there.

There is always the well timed miscue.

I don't have a dog in this fight and I'm sure I would have been pissed too... but that pit is full of snakes but some of them are just playing and trying to win.

I know for a fact of some people who told me personally they were dumping the rail. I also lost a lot of respect those them after they told me this.. apparently I was suppose to be impressed.

Exactly. This dick #%ad will say he cant pay you now when hes got thousands in his hand. If he won you would have gotta a RK iou worth nothing.

"It's not worth going to jail over"

This is exactly what these dirt bags think. It's not that there tuff guys. they are counting on no one doing anything to them for the jail card. Sometimes I don't know what country I live in anymore. It's easy. Get someone he doesn't know to beat the hell out of him...I mean hospital beating. Don't say anything to anybody. These kind of things are not even looked into much by the police. about 90+% of any arrests are because someone called the police. Yes I've had it done 6 times that I can remember and never was even questioned about any of the six.

The thing that really gets to me though is that everyone knows these dirt bags air barrel... and they keep playing them...WTF is wrong with people? Johnnyt

If the rail was dumped it was for Kenny's bets. There was only 3 other big betters there, besides me. I know 2 of them definately are not con men. The third quietly bet 100 a game occasionally. I made some money, as did one other. The other 2 were losers.

All the suspected dumps only happen on his bets. So I either dont bet with him if I chose the player opposite (so he wont be getting my money) or if I choose the same person I just take up the bets from him. Mostly when he is around I plug my ears, what an obnoxious loud foul person, his parents should be very very proud.
