The two that do it for me are:

Cornbread Red

Amarillo Slim

Looking forward to hearing what you all think are some of the great and/or unusual ones.

Best,

Buddy, talks about a guy up in Tennessee, Seth "Buttermilk" Brown.

That has to rank high on the list.

Shannon the Cannon is a good one, as is Hillbilly.

all of em are much better than most in the NBA - Kobe "the black mamba" ????? what?! or Durantula....c'mon

The best? "Toupee Jay". He is the man, the myth, the legend.

Most unusual? "Weenie-Beenie". Bill was one of the genuinely nicest and classiest people in the history of people.

Don't tell anyone or ask why, but in my 20s mine used to be "Screamin Bikini" I had to leave the country to rid myself of that one.

For about ten years or so on LI, NY my nick was "the wet head". I got it from going into the bathroom during long all night 14.1 match ups. I use to soak my head in a sink of cold water and then comb it without drying it much. A lot of times a drop of water would drip on the table as I was shooting. I was also known as "the rabbit" for...NM, can't tell that one on here. Johnnyt

I don't think I would have brought it back out either.... LOL

You may as well replace "Registered User" with it to "scream" it from the roof tops.

best in my book

I have not actually met him, only watched him play a couple of times...but Chris "SMOOTH CRIMINAL" Bartram has to be the one for me....It just has that ring to it.....

New a guy that went by the name "Lefty". Funny thing is that he was right handed. Folklore had it that his "left" ornament was considerably larger than the right.

At Hawaiian Brian's, We got..

EZ Smith... I think it might be his real name..

I called a guy the Tin Man once after he asked for the 6 out and the break. I told him to go find a heart (he didn't play nealy that bad).

here's another one: Jungle Jim - for him, every rack seemed to turn into an adventure.

Best,
