The most I have ever seen with my own eye's $28,500, it was 34 years ago in St. louis, Mo. I had no stake in it, in fact at that time I had little money and none to bet. The players were playing 9 ball push out rules and the match-up lasted for 11 1/2 hour's.
Now I know that is much now, but during that time frame it was some serious cash.
$28,500 will always be a lot of cash!
I thought I had won a couple hundred K one night, but unfortunately John Mars was just firing an air barrel at me!! J/K John, couldn't help it, lol. In all seriousness, I've heard of some monster scores but its not too cool to put others big scores out there if you weren't involved.Just my opinion.
James Walden played Mike Coltrain around the time of the Camel Pro tour. I think he played him for $27,000 giving him the 7.
I think James Walden is about the strongest money player I have ever seen. He is just a machine.
Also, there was a guy named Greg Stevens, but that was back before my day. I would think he'd have taken down some pretty big scores....

How about the IPT match between Siegel and Reyes for 1 Million dollars?
No, that one was for 200,000, if I remember correctly. The next tournament Hohman won 350,000 against Manalo and in the final tournament Reyes won 500,000 against Rodney Morris.

I came back the nest night and the guy had lost everything that
