I don't know what Borana's speed is but this would be an interesting way to answer the question for all of us who want to know. For the record, I believe I'm a C+/B- in LOS ANGELES, maybe a solid B if I remembered to eat lunch and a Flintstones vitamin. I don't know how that translates into NEW YORK ratings but I guess we can find out.

I'm sorry, a C+ doesn't play like that. Read below. Also she said Merissa!!, Quit knocking my action. She didn't want anyone to know who she was, especially us. I think that it is very underhanded. Borana can do what she wants, but trying to keep her real identity secret is very low.

Most on here know who OMGWTF is. She was streamed for hours in an action match on TAR. As far as "don't knock my action, " I took that as a joke". I think this is an even match that will come down to the best defense and the most heart. Of course a few good rolls will help too. JMO. Johnnyt

I think Mr. Murnak needs to pay a little more attention to the pool world outside of NYC. There is a plethora of talent in NYC but America consists of more than just NYC.

If she was hustling she wouldn't state in a public forum "Quit knocking my action." She may be better or worse than Borana and that difference may be a lot or a little. She wants to find out. If you want to keep believing she is hustling somebody it's your right to do so.

Mr. Murnak should simply save his self imposed stress and back out of his offer to back Ms. Andoni so she has time to find a replacement (if she needs it).

Both occurences are rare for players of our speed, no?

I've never been able to win, or even come close, to winning a qualifer after that one in 2005.

What have I done lately? Pretty much nothing. I play a lot of barbox and everyone in Southern California (and probably the rest of America) will attest to my love for playing 8-ball on a barbox. I've quit chasing the tour so I am no longer an aspiring pro. I stay local and I play a lot of APA.

As for Merissa, I know her quite well as she is from the Southern California area. I was joking about the knocking. Otherwise, why would I post that publicly? But, alas, humor is often lost on the intarwebs.

I'm just a chick that loves to play pool, which, according to what everyone has said, is not so different from Ms. Andoni. I don't know what speed Ms. Andoni plays, but everyone has spoken very highly of her game. I do not think this will be an easy match for me and I know I will have to play very well to win.

I bet my own money because I have faith in myself. If you have faith in Ms. Andoni and her four-pack of 10-ball, then bet on her. If you don't, then withdraw. I do not doubt she has enough support on the forums to make up your $500 should you choose to do so.

This is absolutely no testiment to how well Borana plays. She was visiting me that weekend when we went to this tournament and there's a lot you don't see there. On our way to the tournament that day, Borana got word from her mom that a close family member had passed away (her Aunt I think, I don't remember). She almost didn't play in the tournament because her and her mom were coordinating her travel so she could get back for the funeral and was getting calls even during all of her matches from family members about it. On top of that, she had a lot of people acting rudely towards her all weekend because it happened to be the month she was in IP magazine so the entire room was rooting against her. Pool was the last thing on her mind that day.

I have traveled with her to other tournaments and have seen her consistenly play on a much higher level than what you see in that video, even beating some pro's along the way.

Many people here know exactly who she is. The fact that you barked about a bet and got called before you knew who you were barking at has nothing at all to do with Melinda.

Just because she does not shout her name to the roof tops or do a photo shoot twice a week does not mean she is trying to hide from anyone. You are out of line calling her dishonest and low.

She had already posted her name and photo when Cubc agreed to play against her. Since she had already posted this information, she probably figured it wasn't her fault you didn't see it two years ago so she told you how to find it yourself. What she didn't know was that for whatever reason, the threads were pulled by the admin. She was not and is not trying to hide anything from you.
