The point is that it is just as dumb to expect someone to sacrafice playing in tournament events (that many have suggested and are pressuring Borana to do or else she is "avoiding" the match) that are also very important to them and are the whole reason they spent the time and money to go there to begin with.
It is just as reasonable, if not more so, to expect someone to call in to work sick for a couple of days than it is for someone to give up the events that are important to them (that they can never get back) and are the whole reason they are there to begin with. You can never go back and play a big and important event you missed, but chances are your job will still be there if you call in sick. The point is that the scheduling conflicts are on Melinda's end just as much as they are on Borana's, and it is unfair for peope to be pointing the finger in only one direction as they have been. Neither one should be expected to sacrafice something that is of such importance to them. If they can make their match work, then great, everybody wants to see it. If not, its just one of those things and in this case it wouldn't be anyone's "fault" and nobody was "avoiding" anything.

because you say it's all good then nothing could be up with the match? i don't know either of them from adam so i assume somethings up. unemployment %'s growing and cash getting tighter everywhere anything could be going on.
times are tough!
besides if they're both betting their own money why would they care what anyone else thinks.
This girl is just too sharp! Well Chris Bartram also said he would jump in as did Eric along with Cris De La Garza so I think we have a good group to do this.

usually commentators are neutral and 4 of the 6 you have lined up seemed to be more aligned with one player than the other.
Now that's funny. Sounds like Lenny will have some, ahhhh, errrr, interesting company if this goes off! Wonder if Trashbag Shavemaster (not an anagram but a description) will be sitting in to provide some expertise to those less fortunate in the dome department

I think that would be good fun, I just have to see if they even want me to do it first but glad to have a good number of players willing to commentate this who will do a great unbiased job. I also would like to give a custom cue from Crown Cues to the winner of this match also if I do end up streaming it, just a little bonus for the winner of this "epic" battle and if anyone else has anything they would like to contribute for the winner or loser that would be very cool.
Well, since omgwtf is playing singles as well, she would be sacrificing her tournament as well, so it would have been an even tradeoff.
Eric, Amanda, Cris and Bartram seem neutral to me, yes Tony and Gail are from NY but are both professionals and have done unbiased commentating before and probably would do an excellent job. If the ladies are okay with who are commentating then so am I, I have no problem with people who know OMGWTF doing commentary also as long as they are unbiased, I would also be there right next to them doing the tech work to make sure that it is so. It is not much different then when you see Mitch commentating on Ewa's match or Jeanette Lee commentating on her competitors, most will act neutral and not show who they are rooting for and that would be important to me. I highly doubt you will hear them knocking or rooting for who they would like to win on the air to everyone, they would just provide color and good commentary on this match.

eric and amanda i find would be neutral. tony is pool's finest ambassador and he would do a great job as well.
bartram is a well known borana fan. gail is captain of the team borana's on and borana's visited cris in texas as cris stated.
i'm sure everyone can be professional but it just seems very one sided commentary wise. there's enough people who will be there that are strictly neutral that to see a heavily one sided list like this...

well commentary can be one sided if the people commentating are playing favorites. faults on one side emphasized while faults on the other side overlooked. it just seems surprisingly one sided.
