The market

If the market was great it wouldn't have been listed at a wholesale price...6900 for a Gus in that condition was a fire sale price

Its probably just me but I hadn't heard of too many plain Gus's going for much over the mid-6K range. What was a cue like this one worth in a good market?

My guess would be 8500-9000 in this condition and veener combo with full original shaft,but maybe Joe V. can chime in and say what it would have brought say 2 years ago
