DCC - What AZ'ers are going?

A couple of days ago it was a 50/50 chance of me going to DCC, and now I think it is as much as 70/30 ;)

Going to the police during next week to get a new passport, since my old is not acceptable in the States. Have checked flights, but haven't booked yet, but I have made reservations at Holiday Inn. Looks like I am arriving in the evening on the 24th, after travelling for almost 24 hours... :o

So, what AZ'ers can I meet at DCC 2009? Please let me know :)

I am 50/50 but if I make it, I will see you in the AZ Room for sure.

Oh, you HAVE to make it if I go. I am going mainly to meet you and Williebetmore ;)

If I can't play you some one-pocket in the AZ Room I am starting to believe that you are acting like Jay Helfert, and running away when there is action coming up ;)

When we will play, what handicap will you give me?

I have a suggestion:

- 11/5
- I get the breaks
- you need to bank your first ball
- you need to play 3 and stop
- after the break I can spot 1 ball of my choice, before next shot

I'll be there for the entire nine days of the event. Looking forward to meeting you and other AZB posters.
 
I'm going to try to get there this year. Kid Dynamite (Darren Appleton) told me this weekend he was planning on going, and Yannick Beaufils wants to come with. They were both here in Bangkok for a big tournament last week.

I was planning on going until I read that the hotel rooms were $300 a night. Talk about scalping the pool playing public! A retired man can't afford them prices.

I plan to go to get my annual ass kicking playing Banks and One Pocket.
I'll also keep busy with the Fat Boy Ten Ball challenge and the One Pocket Challenge in the AZ Room.

Oh, and running from Joy Boy will keep me in shape. :wink:
