BEEN THERE, DONE THAT!

Just wanted to let people know that our buddy Dick Neighbors is in the hospital. Say a prayer for him. He's having problems with all of his joints above and beyond what he normally has had. So much so that he's unable to walk. His kidneys are shutting down and they still don't know what's causing his problems. He's at University Hospital here in Cincinnati where he was taken by ambulance a couple of days ago. I just learned about it from one of his sons this morning and have been trying all day to get more information. I finally reached Dick by phone but he was only able to talk for a couple of minutes due to Doctors and nurses poking and prodding him as we spoke. I will try to get more information later along with a room number in case anyone would like to send a card or visit him. His health has been deteriorating over the last year and I'm very concerned about him. We've been friends for over 30 years and even partners at times in our cuemaking adventures. I know that this may not be the correct area to post this but it's where Dick spent all of his time on AZ and I felt that made it appropriate. God Bless you Dickie! Get Well!

Hi,

Dick is one of the highly experienced good guys here and I have gained a ton from knowing him online.

He is a tough old bird and I am hopeful the doctors will get him on the road to recovery.

My family's prayers are with him for a very speedy recovery.

Get well soon Dick!!

Dick is about 1,000,000% better than he was Wednesday night.

He is improving, but it is still serious. His nurse assured me
last night(Thurs), that his kidney function should return to normal.
He was severely de-hydrated due to a sore throat where he couldn't
even swallow water.

Think you have problems? When the ER nurse ask what medications he
took, Dick calmly replied "I take about 20 pills a day"
