View full quality, and slow it down.... it's really close. Took this with my phone, and we decided it was good, with only the phone to view it on. Now that I see it on my computer, I'm not so sure.

Foul

The guys I shoot with in the local dive on Friday night do that all the time. I tried to explain it to them and gave up. Cracks me up.

I don't 3 foul them either in the little 9 Ball tourney. I did it a couple yeas ago and guy got pissed and left.

Double hit. You can see the QB stop then move to the right on the screen after second hit.

I always cue up high on the QB and take a very short back stroke to get a good hit and safe shot on these.

Looks like the cue ball hits the 7 twice and the cue tip hits the the cue ball twice.
Neither ball contacts a rail after the hit.

By all standards it's a foul with ONE EXCEPTION!!!!!! In APA that's a good hit, apa doesn't have push or dbl hit fouls! So to the OP what rules you playing by?

If I'm watching this hit I an APA match I call that a foul. It's clearly a double hit.
The APA manual describs a double hit or "double clutch" as an illegal hit.

At any rate, it's clearly a double hit - foul

The APA most certainly has double hit fouls! The balls are not frozen so a "push" is not even in the equation. This is absolutely a double hit cue ball foul. Ball in Hand to the opponent.

IMO, it would have been better to shoot away from the four ball and leave the cueball somewhere safe...or at least leave the opponent a tough shot.

THAT was a double hit foull.
