JoeyA

red is one-half green

Geeeez I gave him a dose also and he is still green.

Explain that one ! since he has only one post and been here since march,
very odd.

The red rep points somebody gives out is only one-half the amount of green rep points the same person gives so things are heavily weighted towards green. I lit up the red again just for grins.

Where is Smorg when we need him? He would break out the red helmet and paint the walls!

I gave him a greenie, his post doesn't warrant a red rep parade especially when I have a strange feeling he was just being sarcastic. Even if he wasn't why try to run people off the board, thats why people don't post here.

Are you guys sure you moved the marker from the automactic "I approve" designation to the apropriate "I disapprove" box?

I'm holding onto my bullet for now. Let's see if he comes back and unveils his true intent. Until then, I have to believe he's toying with us and is enjoying his popcorn.

KK9 <-- knows Joey couldn't pull a wing off a fly

Be very careful of a guy by the name of Joey A from New Orleans. He is not on the up and up. Do not have any dealings with him. Trust me.

One post and you are taking shots at a well known person.

Why exactly would anyone "trust" you?

What exactly is your word worth here?

You know, I had my suspicions about Joey A.

This certainly clears it up. Thanks Cops. ;)

Okay, this is the red rep syringe, hold still now...you're gonna feel a little pinch...

Best,
Brian kc

Why would anyone want to make a comment like that about JoeyA?

Even if it's meant to be sarcasm, or just a poor attempt at humor, things like this can be damaging to innocent people's reputations.

IMO, if anyone has a beef with anyone else on here, they should spell it out, and then sign their complaint with their real name. If they're not willing to do that, then maybe they should just keep it to themselves.

3142. BIG-TIME GAMBLERS OF NEW ORLEANS.
by joeya20, 7/19/10 21:11 ET

Recently, I and several others witnessed some of the most unsavory actions we have ever seen by one of New Orleans so-called, “Big-Time Gamblers”. Now, it isn’t my intention to out Craig Bourgeois as the scallywag that he is but more so to warn others about the way some of the so-called “big-time gamblers” attempt to ply their trade. Craig had entered a local billiard establishment and was nosing around, begging for enormous spots from most of the players, gamblers and potential gamblers which wasn’t unusual for him as he likes to beg for big spots and then bet nice sums of money (when he is stealing). Now, don’t get me wrong, I am no prude but what I witnessed was so unsavory that it made my stomach turn. I watched as Craig B attempted to engage another well know regular of this establishment who was VERY INTOXICATED and whose normal good judgment was steeply impaired by drinking large amounts of alcohol. It was quite obvious to everyone that the gentleman was intoxicated. It is well known that this person gambles at pool but in his state, he couldn’t beat anyone, especially Craig no matter what the game. The so called “Big-Time Gambler” (Craig B) starts off begging this poor drunk man for a 9-6 spot playing one pocket and Craig is serious about getting 9-6 and even employs “OTHERS” to insure the drunk man that 9-6 is the “right game” for the two of them.

It is not my job to protect every player at the pool room where I play at, nor do I but I could not in good conscience stand by and let this fine person be robbed by such a scoundrel. This “mark” that Craig had singled out was one of our local regulars who regularly plays fair games with lots of people and I never interfere.

As despicable as it was for Craig B to continuously hound the poor drunk man for the abominable 9-6 spot, the rest of the story has to be told as unsavory as it may be. I talked to the drunken man for quite some time because Craig stayed close by constantly instigating and urging a match between him and the drunken fellow and I did not want to see this man taken advantage of. As the night wore on, Craig was relentless, begging for weight, hour after hour. FINALLY, Craig says, "Well let’s let the owner make a fair game" and so the owner who is known to make many fair games when asked, agreed that he would state the fair game. The owner said a fair game for the two of them would be EVEN. As soon as that was said, Craig did not want to play any longer. This is what you can expect from Craig Bourgeois so just beware that he is not a big time gambler. He is simply a low-bred scoundrel willing to sink to any depth to gain an unfair advantage over anyone, drunk or not.

Now the story would be complete enough but it doesn’t end there. The shallowness of this contemptible person doesn’t end there either. Craig B is a grown man, in the prime of his life as most of you well know and to think that he would take advantage of a drunken man is one thing but the person he had targeted that night was a very SENIOR CITIZEN, FIVE YEARS SHY OF 80 years of age. Can you believe this? At least an ORCA KILLER WHALE attacks polar bears and other warm-blooded creatures capable of either defending themselves or at the very least fleeing.

BIG-TIME GAMBLER, indeed!

You be the judge.

Just don't say that I didn't warn you.

Sorry, but Joey A is one of the most popular members here.

Did you have additional information you wish to share?

I agree. Good, strong post Roger. Everybody knows that JoeyA is top shelf and he's one of the most trustworthy men on these forums. His word is gold for a reason.

what crappy forum software there. I quit trying to navigate it after about 6 posts. Who wrote that software? Travis Trotter?

Tried to green rep you but it said I have to spread it around first.

Thanks for the big chuckle. :grin-square:

Looks like you called this one wrong.
Joey was just being the stand up guy he is. Seems Cops took offence to being outted and thought he could bring it here.:nono::smash:
Hey, would you let us know if it is possible to give him a red right after you have given him a green.;)
