Just what song does it for you in the poolroom?

This one's a no-brainer for me. It's "Shoot to Thrill" by AC/DC. It's also the name of my nine-ball team.
Anything by Metallica is welcomed and I am also a big fan of the 80's "hair-bands" (Cinderella, Motley Crue, Poison, Ratt, etc.).
Songs by Great White never hurt my feelings, along with SRV (of course).
Sprinkle in a good selection of Southern rock (Skynyrd, .38 Special, Georgia Sattelites, etc.) and I'm good to go!
I'm almost 56 years old. As April Wine once sang, I like to rock!!!

About twelve years ago I took an even dozen tough certification tests. I studied forty to sixty hours before each test but the morning of the test I was done. No cramming and I wanted to chill on the hour drive in to take the test. I always listened to some great country on the way in. I'd listen to one CD, either Merle, Hank Sr, Mel Tillis, Johnny Cash, or an all time favorite of mine, Marty Robbins. I like Waylon and Willie but they weren't right for getting my head where I wanted it.
Johnny Cash outscored all the rest in actual testing so when I was headed in to take a really tough test he was the man in the box. It was superstition but I was the only person I ever saw pass all of the tests without retaking any.

pretty much anything except country and rap. I like a quiet golf course, and a noisy Pool Room. Well, I can let Johnny Cash slide, but no other country.
No music is good with me as long as there isn't some really loud, bragging person next to me. Then I want to play him and shut him up.

Everytime i hear a song from a pool movie I feel refocused. I cant help but see the balls going in the pockets on the movie and everything starts to click.
and anything country or rap. Weird combo i know but thats me
I cant play in a poolhall with no music. Nothing sharks me faster than having to listen to some idiot "teaching" his girl how to rack or how to shoot. or two idiots trying to match up at the top of their lungs for like 30 minutes (and its usually over just a few dollars) :angry:
