Did anyone record this, and can share it out?

If no one else steps up to the plate, I can give it a shot. I've never uploaded a video to YouTube before, so it might take me a few days to figure out how to get it there from DVD. Well, not a few days of working non-stop, but you know what I mean. :D

Funny stuff!

Action Challenge

I think that anction challenge would be nice to see, after watching Nightline, and hearing Danny say nobody will play him. I think that there are at least a handful that will play him, for the $$$$$

I think if you have it on dvd then you just rip the info from it in windows media player and then you have the file to upload to youtube i believe.

I don't think many people would buy that one, unless there was a shot clock involved.

Not discrediting him at all, because I've never met him. I only saw him miss that ball on tv. Who did he take off? Was he ranked #1? I've seen him play once on tv, and I'd say there are quite a few that would play. I need info, please.

Thanks, Lenny! Looks like Cleary took care of it after your post, but I'll give that a try perhaps with another video. Thanks for the tip! :)

A certain world champion pool player in NJ told me when he read the first chapter of his book and saw it said "I had to leave NJ when no one else there would gamble with me..."

... he had to put down the book, because "he knew the rest was horsesh**".

I see where hes coming from as far as being a little cocky and how the interview goes. I mean you have to embelish the truth a little bit, but as far as him saying nobody will gamble with him, even with a handicap I think thats taking it a little too far. Theres plenty of champions here in the US who would love to match up even, even more so with a spot. And Im saying all this with no disrespect to Danny, because I think hes a hell of a player/hustler.

He sold his story to Hollywood....I would imagine that "Hollywood" is helping out with the embelishment part...

Think about it....at least 90% of the US population won't know any different....

I think the whole story is probably from someone from Hollywood making a call and saying hey we need you to do a build up story for us...

There was a guy in Arizona a few years back that went on the news for some promotion of something that was pool related....He claimed himself "Live On Air" to be one of the top 3 players in the sate.....He was lucky if he was considered one of the top 100.....but the general public was none the wiser...;)

Good for Danny though...He is making the best of his situation...

Heck....from the looks of it...He is putting the Hustle on Hollywood...:D

The whole point of hustling pool and being successfull is not wanting any part of "World Champions"

"you don't get paid for yardage"

You're not hustling when you say "no one in the state will play me" so you have to check out other states. You're saying everyone, champions included, are scared.

Jack Black baby!

hope Jack Black does get tabbed to play Kid Delicious. They're definitely right in that we're long overdue for the next great pool movie!
MM
Yeah Jack Black is awesome. I think he would be perfect to play the part of Kid Delicious. He is hilarious man. I could just picture him doing the one scene where like Danny said he is stuffing his mouth with cake and letting it get all over his cheeks and falling on the ground and stuff, hilarious. I could also picture him doing the Kid's funny little mannerisms that are so annoying to most. The only part we'd have to worry about though is his stroke. That's not something that can be taught so easily, unless they cut to somebody else's chubby hands for every shot, lol. And yes I agree that we're long overdue for a great pool movie. There hasn't been a good one since TCOM & the Hustler.

Thats fine with me, WE/POOL needs a movie so bad it hurts. COM with Cruise was fair at best the pretty boy thing I didnt like, hustler speaks for itself. Even though we all know he isnt the most feared player there is, SVB would drill him in SD playing 10 ball, the IPT wasnt why he still isnt around etc. All the exaggerations would only be known by a handfull of people and thats cool because we need a movie, it wont hurt anyone to sizzle the story, as most Hollywood stories are.

I have a friend who bad a bit part with Jack Black in a movie a couple years ago and he said that Jack is great and funny in real life, I love his work but he is more of a funny guy to me and i'm not sure he is the right guy, his looks are right but I just cant picture him being serious and laying it down in a pool hustle, I would awalys be looking for the punch line.

I agree,Black is more of a comedian who takes comedic roles not serious ones, but who knows, his name is still a draw and hip with the crowd.Anyone have a better actor to fit the bill?
