Jay, I think that after all Earls talk over the past few years about playing on 5x10's and saying he could give the world the 8 on a table like this he had better win. Otherwise what is he gonna talk about?Let's see, Earl is taking on the two best players in America back to back. Wonder if he is trying to prove anything?
If he wins one out of two it will be an achievement and if he wins them both, it will be awesome. But on the other hand, if he loses both these matches (which is what I expect to see), then he will have only proven that he ain't got it anymore. Pretty tall order for the Pearl, trying to recapture old glory.
By the way, I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is. I'll bet even money that Shane and Johnny both win. If Earl wins either match I lose. Any takers?
In the interviews with the players, Earl seems confident on the other hand Shane seems scared and worried about the table. Maybe he already has lost in his mind.
