This is funny s**t, a 3rd different thread about this game. Just let it go, we all want to see it happen but we also know that it isn't. Jamie, if you want to talk to Dave that bad, then IM me and I will give you his # and you can call him.

All sounds exciting. I just don't understand why you wouldn't take a plane. If you think you have the nuts and have 10 large in your pocket, spend $400 for two plane tix and go get the money. Figure on another $600 on random whatever excpenses (the party after you win) and you still make 90% on your money.

Not a bad investment.

Seems like a bad move to not "make it easy" for Dave and fly there to drill him.

I'd fly to Guam for $10k if I though I had the nuts.

Just my 2 cents.

Hell, simply callDan Tull at Shooters in Olathe. He will be in touch with Dave in about 42.5 seconds. But I'm warning, the more this is on the internet the less likely Dave is to go for it.

I'd like to know where all these guys were that that would give me the WILD 8 on a bar table when I played. I was only a B B+ on a bar table and I think I could win some sets from second tier pros. I sure would have given it a try. I know Corey is first tier but the wild 8 is huge. Johnnyt

You are so right; the only people considering are asking for MORE advantage.

To my way of thinking the person giving the weight is entitled to set the parameters - the only "disrespecting" going on is guys trying to get more of an advantage and acting like Corey is in some way "ducking". There is NO onus on Corey to do any more; if players don't like the terms just say no. Props to Jamie and Corey for trying to stimulate some action.

In my day, you either matched up or you didn't. You also didn't air it out in public like this. I guess things are different these days with the internet, but I think this is all just for spectacle more than anything else, and yes, its amateurish and boring.
