You don't f*cking deserve it. You're like a drug addict who's scamming anyone and everyone so he can get his next fix, making up all sorts of excuses as to why you need extra money and how nothing is your fault. I wouldn't be surprised if that's actually what lead to your financial downfall.
What if Jay decides to not send you the money. How are you going to pay back your financier.

I said this previously - If you are THAT bad off:
1. Start selling some assets. This will at least give you some money to work with. I was just in a stream not long agho where you talked about selling your cue
2. Get hired! Any job really....anything bringing money in is better than NOTHING!
3. Cut back expenses! Clearly that internet you have at home is an expense unless your leaching off the neighbors.
It will take a bit of time but it's not rocket science on how to financially survive and there are a LOT worse off people than you are I'm sure.

That’s very true much of my problems will be temporarily solved by the goodwill of this man. I have been supposed to stream this event for a while but I didn’t know where the resources would come from to get there. Originally we were asked how much we would want to stream this even and my girlfriend came to me and asked me how much would you want. I told her immediately I wouldn’t want any money that’s my honor and contribution to the family and the pool community but we need $50 to even get there for gas which is a reality. So I asked the girls putting it on if I could get $50 and they said it seems reasonable but everyone is hurting for money obviously. So the idea was presented to me that maybe we could hitch a ride and I’m like sure just make they understand we need room for equipment and both of us. So as it pans out hardly anyone is driving up there as they seemed to have other plans. So it comes down to tonight we couldn’t go. I cannot afford to spend more money on gas when the income isn’t there to afford the expense. It’s simple math. Same reason I don’t order pizza to enjoy myself when watching a movie or anything as I used to. If I spend that money the money won’t be there when the bills are paid. I literally do not go out of the house to spend anything during this time. It’s all relative, at one time I used to play $20 a game one pocket with my friend Buzz who gave me my nickname, now if I were to want to play $5 one pocket it’s an impossibility. While some play for thousands, it’s completely relative to the situation.
It is all perception of reality, and maybe I will go more into this concept later and try to explain why nobody seems to understand the way I express myself and wants to constantly make fun of the way I communicate. Because you do not share or understand my placement or conceptual posistion when using language and ideas when it is the way I look at things. It is a different perspective or perception of reality. We all have our own belief systems, opinions and ways to communicate or not communicate based upon the inputs we are given from our percieved realities which give us our own unique perception of reality.

All this over $200??? and the same people ask why pool is hurting. infighting among industry people in public over $200. Man thats pathetic. I like Jay, he is important in pool but just handle it privatly and its chump change. even when I was broke $200 wasnt shit to me.
Be pound wise and penny foolish, not penny wise and pound foolish. its not a difficult concept, warning people about someone is ok, but putting all the biz in the street is why AZB is toxic sometimes. Nobody really cares. I dont. I been scammed by a cue maker, case maker for alot more than this I handled it privately.
i just dont get it. my only reason for posting this is to show the boss man one of the reasons AZB aint what it was.

Jay held off for a long time, 5 months of getting jacked around. He didn't post anything until he had given him every chance in the book.
Jay's out more then 200 bucks...he was out 200 bucks before he even found out that Mike reneged on the agreement... but here's the point Eric. Maybe chump change to Jay... what about the next guy that might be trusting a couple of grand in a business endeavor with Mike. Couple of grand is a helluva lot of money to a lot of people.. Could mean that guys business folds if he gets taken. Maybe Jay's post is going to save that person and many more.
Obviously Mike is a professional manipulator. I've met hundreds of those people in my lifetime. They don't ever change. They can rob a poor lady living on social security and justify it in their mind. They're always the victims.

Come on now. You seem like a good guy and I like you but to be fair, didn't you do essentially the same thing over exactly the same amount of money three months ago?
Ok, it was over a gambling debt instead of DVD's, a reneged deal or whatever, but qualitatively I don't see much of a difference. You still both got screwed in a financial transaction by somebody who attempts to conduct "business" with others on this forum.
Personally, I think you and Jay were both right to have started the threads you did. You both were getting stuck and wanted to avoid it happening to others. I'm sure it wasn't about the money for you, just as it isn't for Jay. The flavor of what he posted sounded to me just like yours did, just to let the rest of us know something is wrong and to steer clear or at least be forewarned.

I just want to say thanks to Dave Wilson and Mike for letting this thread live.
It's may be ugly, but there are lessons to be learned here. It's not just about Mike or Jay individually, it's about the situations that can occur as a result of choices people make in their business dealings.
Do your homework, folks. Get references, check them out, choose right. It's the way of business.

It is absolutely amazing how people can twist and turn and interpret the information presented here as in I am the bad guy, the scam artist, the thief, the liar when I have presented a majority of evidence which easily proves that is the contrary. How does me sharing the fact that I need money to pay bills change the perception of the facts here? The fact is the agreement is obviously whatever Jay said it was no matter if it’s the truth or not because it’s Jay. We had somewhat of an agreement but it’s nothing like what he stated and there was no written contract or even completely understood verbal agreement.
Do you not think that to go through hours and hours of video work it isn’t reasonable to ask for some kind of expense for authoring and mastering and making DVDS for someone to sell? How about the expertise involved and knowledge to do so? We agreed that it’s easier for me to make them with security on them to protect the intellectual property and to just pay me upfront for the discs so he wouldn’t have to worry about paying me after the fact. I suggested this because of how much I spent during the whole event and expressed that I would really appreciate if he did this. I didn’t force him to agree to it. It wasn’t just a camera it was my whole setup and my computer and I made recordings of the broadcast with titles as if it was my show and saved them on my computer. I especially was disturbed when I wasn’t offered anything and he made a considerable amount off the tournament. How much can you take advantage of people and not expect something back?
Jay really makes some directly crazy statements multiple times but people just wave it off because you want to believe whatever you want to believe and that’s certainly your prerogative to develop our own view but it doesn’t make it the truth. Cali Red are you even understanding the fact of the dated email of when we agreed to make the Alex P DVDS and how they were going to be made? No you obviously are oblivious. If my work was so bad why would he not complain when we did the event in the first place? Why wouldn’t he demand better packaging when I sent him the Mika Immonen DVDs way before? Then the John Schmidt DVDS? Shortly after that? The Alex runs were a much different technical issue because they were in several files and I didn’t know when they started and stop of runs. I sent him as I made a lower quality sample for him to watch to tell me where to edit for whichever disc, he was unable to do that for whatever reason so we decided to make them into 2 discs as a set and so I worked on it. That email is specifically dated above and it wasn’t that long ago.
I’m going tell you something else… where is that in any way shape or form Jay is out of money? As in he was ripped off or scammed for money how has been out of any money at all? He paid me to author and create DVDS of players performances I made them with security I might add and sent them to him. He’s had the Mika and the Schmidt dvds for MONTHS it’s not my concern why he hasn’t done anything with them yet? So how is he out money? Jay always paid me for the discs I sent him which I am thankful for.
Do you actually think it’s ok for people to outright lie against you publicly again and again when you have proven them false? Many people’s perceptions are completely contrary to the truth. It’s amazing how someone status or perceived status completely just warps peoples understandings and perceptions.
And I’m not a bad guy, and I do not rip people off and take orders and don’t send them. Plenty of people have ordered DVDS enough to have someone attest to that.
This is just so tiring and exhausting but really it’s necessary because everyone just wants to beat up on me.

I know it's fruitless to argue with you but:
1. We did have a verbal agreement that you reneged on.
2. You held the DVD's hostage until I sent you money. EXTORTION was your new negotiating tactic.
3. What I got for $8 each was cheap copies, quality still unknown.
4. You've now received a total of $360 from me. You've also sold I don't know how many copies, which you also agreed not to do.
5. You badgered me repeatedly for more money, with emotional and nonsensical e-mails.
6. You took five months to do something that was originally promised in a couple of weeks (your words). Of course that was before "we" (you!) made a new deal.
7. You mislabeled a package to me and blamed me for not receiving it, calling me a liar as well.
8. You have conducted yourself like a third grader for months now. And not a very nice third grader at that. You should be sitting in a corner facing the wall!
9. I made exactly ZERO off the tournament! I paid all my own expenses to come there and like you I have bills to pay, much larger than yours I'm sure. I do get a free room which I offered to share with you.
10. And finally, I was a fool to get involved with you. I promise it won't happen again.
