Well maybe not, the last time (yesterday) I made the joke " sounds like another guy that should jave bought a Jack Madden " some clown didnt get it and red reped me, for what, Im not really sure. So Ill just be like everybody eles and say, that sucks, guys a jerk, good luck getting your money, have a better day....

it's because you can't :

a) stick to the topic at hand
b) quit advertising - we get the point
c) post anything of value

Maybe you should just sometimes be sympathetic to those that got taken advantage of and not been that punk kid going "haha!! you shouldv'e xxx"....

Sorry about the $230.00 loss man, another snake crawlin' through the green grass on the dark side! I really wish these types could all be lined up and "dealt" with by all those they've done wrong in the past. Two wrongs may not make a right, but it sure does help on the short term basis! :grin-devilish:
 
Man, you sure don't wanna fu#$ up around this crowd. Word gets around quick. I am from a very small town where if you screwed somebody's wife, the husband was on the way home before you even got your belt off. Same scenario, huh?

Do a search of these forums and there's several of these types of threads....it's not an isolated incident.

I guess going out of someone's way in the form of customer service is offering to sell someone maintenance pins at a reduced price to replace ones bought earlier from Lee that didn't have the inserts lined up with the sleeves, and that he referred to as "old junky ones we used to stock"?

Stay away from used car salesmen!

Shamadam - I agree there is no excuse for hanging up on a customer period if that is indeed what happened (I bet there is another version of that conversation) I can only tell you what my experience with the company has been. I hope it works out for the customer and based on my own dealings with Brianna I think it will. Obviously you and others feel differently based on something. I'm sure there has been some problems.(most companies do have some problems)

As far as ragbugs example of customer service goes - that of course is absurd

as to one of my own experiences I was in need of a tip pad and after calling a # of the vendors we all know and being told I must make a fifty dollar minimum purchase etc.. I called Brianna - A woman answered the phone and I explained my situation (at this time they had no idea I was a previous customer) I heard her relay the story to Lee and he told her get his address and send him a few. They promptly sent me a couple more then a few - NO Charge thank you

So to me that was a pretty good example of customer service and requires that I at least share my positive experience with Brianna (that is not the only one)

my intent was and is not to get into a urination contest - I hoped to ease posters concerns.

Before everyone jumps the gun I agree he should leave a message or something to that effect and perhaps he does

Even if i search the forums as the bug suggests it will not change my own experiences with Brianna

I also agree that Chris is a great guy to deal with

My thoughts exactly. I remember some character on here was running around talking about Bob Dzuricky and "promoting" his cues the same way this guy is "promoting" Madden's. Bob finally had to get on here and tell him in no uncertain terms to stop...

That PM train is pretty telling though...wow!

I just posted my unfortunate situation with Jeff Eason.....another rip-off artist that hangs up on people and doesn't return emails OR money.

Good luck getting this resolved.

I´m from Sweden and I deal/collect cues some here and Ivé been looking for a supplier to buy tips, wraps, dvd´s, different parts etc from, I´m doing this just as a hobby and don´t need so much so I have looked around AZ to find someone that can deliver "most" of the stuff so I don´t have to get it shipped from a lot of places - expensive.
Now I have talked to Chris at Hightower cues and I´m just writing up a list of stuff that I want.
I have also looked at Brianna´s and "almost" went on and bought some stuff from there - and I read this! I´m lucky!! Thx for sharing this, I had know idea.

Maybe best to ask if Chris is a stand up guy? From talking with him and seeing his posts he seems good?!
I surely hope that you get your money back!

To reiterate what others have said, Chris is a great guy to deal with. He actually bought a cue from me through ebay and the transaction was smooth as glass. I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again as a seller or a buyer.
 
I was at the Derby this year and Lee had his booth set up right next to Pat Diviney.

I thought about looking at what Lee had but then remembered all the bad things I have read about him on AZ and just kept walking, kinda like avoiding him like the Plague.

Funny how much the things you read from our guy's here influence our thoughts.

Thats why I love these forums.

well he may be "out of town" but he has been on the forum this afternoon. Perhaps he could enlighten us with HIS side of this story. I'm sure he doesn't want his reputation tarnished by what is surely a bogus account of this transaction...:rolleyes:
