To this day, know knowing about Jean Balukas then, and Jasmin Ouschan now, it is still Allison Fisher. I think she was the first professional I ever saw on television, or even heard of before I decided to commit to playing seriously. At least at that time she was feared as much as she was respected.
I'm not sure where her game is now, but I've heard (dunno if it's true, though) out of any singular professional team or athlete, she has held a Number One title the longest.
