Because "aiming systems" are for beginners learning which side of the ball to hit and not really useful once you learn this.
Its like kicking and banking systems... if you are truly using them to shoot, I would bet you are missing almost everything. Inside your head you may be subconsciously adjusting, but in reality, you are missing.
I don't think I agree that it's just for beginners. If so, why have so many pros stated they are using CTE, TOI, Etc?
You would think with all the hype and advertising, there would have been someone peddling any aiming system at the SBE. Not one booth, video or DVD did I see of any of the aiming systems being thrown around here. Any reason why?
WOW! There's an entire separate forum for aiming systems, a new one coming out every few months, pros peddle them, pros "use" them and now it's for beginners? So I'm gathering the majority of people on this forum are beginners? Because they sure as hell generate enough aiming system talk and controversy that there's gotta be something to it.
I guess I was looking for some different reasons why....

Funny that you say this because I saw Jayson Shaw last night using a system to figure kicks. The only ones he missed were the ones he didn't measure.
And Ike Runnels asked me to help him with CTE.
The reason no one was "selling" aiming systems at the SBE is because no one SELLS them. This isn't some quick fix or a drill you can do.
I know you are a world class player in your own right but you are not correct with your statements here in my opinion.
You've got to be kidding me. Kicking systems make kicking so much easier. If you want to bet against me kicking balls 1 rail using diamond systems, you're gonna quit before I do.
Tuzul's system has specific calibration shots for each table. While they don't cover all of the variables, they do provide valuable input for correcting the calculation for each shot.Deal, but here are the rules
1. You stipulate the system you use before we start and diagram it.
2. You HAVE to hit exactly where your original diagram states
3. We change tables every couple shots
Systems are viable but they are general in nature. There are so many variables that are not taken into account or can't be taken into account. I see people all the time using systems and missing kicks by a diamond. Only when they start adjusting do they come close. Therefore, you are making random adjustments to a system that you think is correct. (its random because you don't strike the ball the same every time)
"yes, could I have one aiming system please? And a coke."
