The STIFF FIXER....
When I was at Valley Forge in March I signed up and paid for a subscription for InsidePool Magazine at their booth. Have never heard from them and they don't reply to their emails. Anyone else sign up and get anything?
Cyrex & the rest of the posters who feel like they have not gotten what they ordered from Inside Pool Magazine.
FIRST OFF: Inside Pool Magazine is one of the largest if not, THE LARGEST VOLUME pool magazine in the industry, FOR A REASON. They provide the best tournament coverage of any pool magazine BAR NONE. They send out over 26,000 subscriptions each month/cycle.
1. Moving is the number one problem with subscriptions.
2. Incorrect addresses written or input are the second reason for subscription problems.
3.
As Cris mentioned, if you have a problem with your IPM subscription, telephone 888-428-7665. This is the SHORTEST route to fixing the problem. Leave a message if you don't get a live voice. If you don't get a call back in 2-3 days, get on their website at
www.insidepoolmag.com and contact them via their website contact/email. If you don't get a reply back from that, then I will offer you to contact me via PM with your real name and all of your contact information and I will pass it on for you.
The first option and quickest option is just to call them.
Inside Pool Magazine can and if necessary will put your subscription on what they call the Publication Watch, which will determine the precise reason for you not receiving your suscription.
If you have proof of your purchase, that would be great too. They keep GREAT RECORDS, so they should be able to authenticate your purchase with very little problem. If you have a cancelled check, tell them so.
Inside Pool Magazine values EVERY paying subscriber and will resolve any problems.
The fact that they get out over 26,000 subscriptions each cycle is pretty impressive if they only get a few complaints here and there.
SO IN CLOSING: Do the smartest thing to get your problem resolved and call. Do the 2nd smartest thing if the number one thing doesn't resolve it and get on their website and email them. And if none of that works, PM me and I will see if there is something I can do to help.
INSIDE POOL MAGAZINE is a VALUED POOL MAGAZINE and a credit to our sport. Without them we would have very little information about the tournaments and I hope that you will give them a chance to resolve your problems. Besides, they have lots of good instructional material and a good staff of writers.
I do understand legitimate complaints and think you have a right to resolution and I KNOW YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU DESERVE AND ARE OWED.
However, if you are just inclined to rant and rave about Inside Pool Magazine for some past perceived injustice or personal problem and that's what turns you on, then just stay on track.
Inside Pool Magazine has a huge subscription base and all kinds of problems do happen but they will work hard to resolve all issues. Mail machines do sometimes damage or destroy addresses of mailed items. Mail carriers can "accidentally" fail to deliver magazines to their rightful destination. Family members and friends can sometimes "get your copy of your magazine" so they can see your name or someone's name in the magazine. Neighbors might like to pluck your magazine from your mail box.
All of these problems can be tracked via PUBLICATION WATCH.
FTR, those of you that subscribed at Valley Forge, you may have gotten only one subscription depending on the date that your subscription was entered. I believe there is also a May June combination issue but VF subscribers will have regular service afte this. There are literally dozens of problems that can and will happen but Inside Pool Magazine is prepared to deal with them all.
Anyway, I hope this clears up your problems.
I'm positive that your calling 888-428-7665 will get to the root of your problem.
Quit bellyaching and get the problem resolved, CALL THEM (ON MONDAY)!
