Hey Cuebuddy,

I may not be there until later this afternoon because I have to take my mule to the mule park.
And yes I hate bumper pool.

Peace

Pennsylvania

I`d like to meet AZB member ''cuesblues'' Ted has become a great friend since coming aboard this site. His cue collection is endless. His knowledge of cues & cue makers is simply amazing. He is also just a great guy to shoot the bull with.
Jeff

I'm sure I will go to Valley Forge next year if we don't hookup before then.
It's a long trip when you're powered by one mule.

I would really like to meet Joe Rogan.

Next time your in Houston, first round is on me.

I've met a ton, but there is a ton more that I'd definitely like to meet up with-
Pretty much everyone I've ever met from here has been jam up great people, and alot of others that I've talked to and emailed with for the last couple of years feel like old friends, that I hope to meet someday-
Definitely some great people around here, no doubt about it-
I'd love to meet everyone on here but with 14,000 plus members....I'll settle with the first thousand or two!:grin-square:

I have met well over 100 people from AZ, maybe 200. I have had people who dont post come up to me in pool rooms and introduce themselfs, this has happened about 20 times I would guess. Its great to meet people here, I awalys take time and chat with them. Pool is much more social and fun to me now that I know so many people. I remember going to all the tournemnts I could in Ca from 85-89 and I recognized almost everyone on the rail but didnt know them, now when I look at the rail I know lots of people. I love it. I know some people dont like me and thats cool, but i havent met one person from AZ I didnt like. Thats pretty good.

I agree with Roy, I'd like to meet everyone.

I agree, at least a couple of thousand or so.
You and I have met enough times.....:grin-square:

I will let you know in advance when I am in the area, I am afraid it wont be untill after the ski season is over. Good luck at the park.

we had similar thread some time ago, didn't we? I would love to meet anyone who is posting in 14.1 section. I met Jerry Forsyth and AZ Housepro, can I dream more? :)

who knows what you will get

BEWARE : not everyone is as they seem on this blasted forum. Although
I have had the great pleasure of meeting quite a few .Majic,BlackJack, and
of course Joey A are true to who they are on here and were more than a
pleasure to hang out with. Also got to meet Jay Helfert at the US open but it was just in passing.

AGAIN BEWARE : Some people will act like your friend just to learn what you know or even
take pictures of your set up.Backstabbers are a sad fact of life.I wish people had
labels like prescription drugs with the side effects ,then you would always know upfront what you
were getting.Hey that would be great in the dating world too:rolleyes:
On a good note besides the above mentioned I did get to meet and take a two day course from Stan
Shuffett who does post on here. That was a good experience I may have never had if not for AZb ,also
Denny Stewart is one I have not met in person that I know would be great. Of course I will never forget
meeting Leonard aka Pool Cue Master . Wanted to end on a positive note and say YES the GOOD out weighs
the bad but watch out for posers ,goodtime Charlies, and the like.

sorry to hear that you have had bad experiences. I've met around 50+ AZ'ers, and haven't had a bad time with one of them.

Who is the AZB'er you most want to meet, and why? Do you want to beat them at a pool challenge? Take a few lessons from them? Teach them a few lessons? Trade cues with them???????

I haven't been on this forum very long... but from the posts I've seen thus far, I would love to meet:
Jay Helfert- Would love to sit and here some of his stories. He is very well spoken and knowledgeable... and funny.
Joe Rogan- He is humble, loves pool... and he's very funny.
Blackjack- Cause he's put up with so much crap, He needs a hug.

Other than that, I'm curious about *who* a lot of the azb'ers are and based on that, I may or may not want to meet them ;)
I like surrounding myself with genuine people.

I've met a few AZers in Vegas and probably more this year.
I think Trigger was there last year and probably walked past and didn't didn't know it.
I think I'll sneak up on her this year if shes there.
Jay Helfert, shoot a couple of games, maybe get some tips and listen to stories for the rest of the night. It would be like the author narrating the book in person.
And I'm pretty sure Fat Boy and I will cross paths this year.
Leon Sly whom I consider to be my mentor. Late night BS sessions on cues and anything else. Very helpful and always there with an answer.
And my favorite AZer that I've met, Jim Baxter. We met in Vegas, had a blast and continue a great long distance friendship over the phone.
Oooops, left out DaveK who mostly hangs in the Machinery Forum, great shooter and a wealth of knowledge on anything machinery related.

I would want to meet Ribdoner. We patronized the same bowing alley in the 60's and 70's. I have never met the man but I luckily connected with him on this forum and we have some mutual friends. I think it would be great to compare some OLD notes. :) Maybe have a cold COORS or two!!

But I do agree that meeting Terry is tops on the list.
