Who are the 'Old Schoolers' of AZ

With this site being around now for quite the time and me being gone for a period of time, it appears to me that lately there has been more of an influx of new members actively posting than in the recent years. I used to read posts and threads and know most people involved. Now I don't know many of them.

Makes me think, who are the Old Schoolers of AZ -

Trigger, Blackjack, Cuaba, Fast N Loose, Fatboy (well only Fatboy1 not Fatboy2), Hangemhigh, JAM, JB Cases, JoeyA, Manwon, Ribdoner, Rossaroni, Williebetmore, Spidey, Houmatroy, Mikeyfrost, lfigueroa, Terry Ardeno, Corvette, JCIN, Jay Helfert, Saw, ME....I am sure there are a slew more but those are off the top of my head.

Damn I didn't make your list?!?! That hurts! Join date= 9/07/2004

We all emigrated from RSB to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go to AzBilliards.

Not "all". Prior to this vbulletin form of AZBilliards there was another AZBilliards on a different platform but it was not RSB. There were way less members then AZB of today but there are some names from that era. Some names changed from those forums to these ones, on the old AZB I was "Irish".

Congrats Spimp, I enjoy your posts and sense of humor! Here's to the next 5!

Thanks brotha....occasionally I go a bit overboard, but damn we gotta have daily humor if possible. I also don't like to sugar coat things which can be good...or bad lol. I am definitely looking forward to the next five years!

Yep I remember that as well. My original posts were all lost in the change to the (at the time) new format. My original thread was titled Buzz in da Butt and my username was Quedup. Been a long a winding road to get to where we are now!

Does being an original AZ'er let alone member #109 qualify me?

If I remember correctly, Keith is member #2! He also rejoined in March of 2003 as I did. Mark Griffin's Sunny Day also has a very low members number. Under 100 I think.

As I'm going to turn 69 this year guess I'm really OLD school :grin-square: .

i'm not sure if i make the old school cut but i've been enjoying being a member since 2006 i think. this site is probably my favorite site on the web.

I think this was discussed earlier in this thread.... you are considered OLD School... @109,

I think I am #95 with a join date of March 2003 (to this new Vbulletin format) I also was a member with AZBilliards in the late 90s.

Blah-Blah is IMO an "OLD Schooler" although she is much younger than us old Farts.
She had a two digit number also.

I think I was a just lurker on r.s.b in 1996, since I can't find any posts I made then in the archive...I've been on/off here as a guest since maybe about 2006/7(???), almost exclusively browsing in the WTB/FS section....

sorry lurkers don't qualify

I believe I'm old school. Played pool for 60+ years, hate jump cues, and ran loose on the docks of NY since I was 10 years old. Hi jacked my first truck load of cigarettes at 12 years old. Johnnyt

Youre definetly old school Johnny, i dont think they know what the word hijacked outside of hijacking an airplane means anymore.

Lordy, Ed! You seem to show up here only once every couple of years or so.

Yeah that seems to be the mode I am in. I am sorry to say I haven't picked up a cue with even a halfway serious attempt to play for several years. But I have some thoughts about maybe a small room as part of my retirement plan. But that's still several years away.

Great to hear from you and the other old timers!

Hmph. I somehow missed my 10 year anniversary gift. I assume it's lost in the mail....
