Scooter Goodman - 2014 DCC

Richie. Would you leave Scooter sitting in your car with the keys in the ignition while you ran into the 7-11 for a pack of smokes.

Yeah, I didn't think so either.

J.P. Paramietier is in the house at the Derby, and if you haven't had the chance to check out his photos, well, you're missing it. I feel like I'm there by seeing these photos.

BTW, does Scott and Scooter look like they could be father and son? Great photo! Even their names sound similar. :)

Out of all these people here making smart ass remarks about Scooter and what he got caught doing wrong, i would bet not one of them would say to Scooters face some of what they say here!

And i would also bet, the ones that got something smart to say about Scooter, would be the first ones sitting there enjoying the gambling entertainment that Scooter puts on from time to time.

Watching Scooter gamble, while they sit there with their thumbs up their asses!

Sure Scooter did wrong, let it rest!

Of course people sit to watch Scooter gamble. Everybody likes to see a good train wreck.

I don’t think it’s a mortal sin if we find ourselves entertained by the antics of a character like Scooter. After all, Shakespeare’s Falstaff is considered one of the most entertaining characters in English literature despite his lying and stealing and general roguery. But just because I’m entertained by a Scooter or Falstaff doesn’t mean I’m going to leave my wallet within their reach. ;)

Yes

Yes

But im a felon also. Now Yall can make fun of me.

Whatever, lets hypothetically say for a second that they were not stealing from you but someone you love, lets say for a second that the money they steal negatively affects that persons life to a significant degree.

How do you take that? You giving them a pass? You just going to go to the Derby and enjoy watching them gamble and throw your loved ones money around?

Think Takeitdown might have nailed it.

Why is someone willing to bet high on dumb random things?
Because they probably didn't work hard for that money.
They don't know the value of it, because it came easy.
If it takes a guy 40 hours in an office to earn 400 bucks,
he wouldn't be so quick to throw it away on a few coin flips or whatever.

Very true. When I was living in Vegas, and played craps, I had a set limit, and a set goal in mind. If I made my goal (club entry, drinks for the night, possibly cab home) I was good to go.never risked more than a $100 loss though.

Not at all..But ppl make mistakes. It happens .Outside of rapist I don't bash anybody..I'm sure every one has done somethin in their life that would be looked down on.Maybe not though.

No, most people have not committed felonies in their lives.
U saying it has to be a felony to be looked down on..Cause that's not what I said.

So u r telling me not once in your whole life u have never done somethin that other would consider wrong? If u have not that's great. More ppl should be like u..

That sentiment is precisely why I have a general rule that I don't play people without jobs for money!

I gotta work almost a whole week no make 10k- NOT!!!
