Case Bashing 101 - & Doctorate level

I do not have a problem if someone send a PM with their opinion about a case maker and leaves it off the main forum.

However, there has been some pretty consistent case make bashing every time some post an example of a different makers product.

Leave it up to the buyer to decide what he buys and whether it is the "best" or "all he can afford".
 
One thing for sure is that if I tried to explain this thread to someone who is not part of the AZ community, they would look at me like I was crazy.
I could just hear it...

Why?
Because AZ is a socialized community that is easily brainwashed on the best interior, and the case makers can't get along and everybody likes to argue about it
Time is up, these gentlemen are here to take you to a nice home for a few months, please put on this jacket and get into the wagon

Amen to Jerry, I'm about half sick of anybody who says anything about another person's work. Be it a cue case or anything els for that matter. No one likes this kind of negativity blasted at another member. The time has come for all that to STOP!!!! This is what's wrong with the world these days. Trying to tell whoever they can about how bad this looks, so on and so on, we have seen this all to long. If you can't say something nice about another case maker or a cuemaker or any person for that matter. Keep your mouth shut!!! Have a little class, and a little compassion for others. That's my 2 cents for what it's worth. God Bless you:smile:

Why I like My Cue Case

I have a Hager 2 by 4, I don't know if they are made anymore, Love It.

The first thing is I like is it is different looking than any case I have seen in my area, spot it a mile away.

It says nice but not $2,000.00 steal me.

The top pouch hold all my personal tid bits, Glasses, Cue holder, Madman Bridge and a little scuffing paper if needed.

The Bottom Pouch is long enough to hold my Jumper Butt.

The Top of the case is attached so I don't lose it.

Itis solid as can be, though I never tried I bet I could run my car over it with no cue damage.

The inside has portable pull out sleeves, handy so nothing gets stuck.

The Butt Sleeve pullout doubles as a Cue Extender for shots I don't want to bring my bridge out for.

I carry 2 shafts for my player, 1 shaft for my breaker and the Jump Cue shaft and my Playing cue and break cue

I love it, look at pictures below and feel free to comment on it.

Then they should remove the product review sections altogether......just saying. Not everything in this world is perfect and rosy. Adults should be able to exchange ideas, even contrary ones. When things get too out of line, then the ban hammer should appear.

They have some good ideas/rules here on this site but there is basically zero enforcement, especially in wanted/for sale. There is no incentive for the people who follow the rules to continue to comply. That place basically needs a full-time mod for a few months and then it would be running pretty smoothly. New users wanting to post in the Wanted/For Sale or Action sections should undergo some kind of person-to-person 'check' to ensure they are legitimate 'new peeps' instead of previously banned scam artists or problem children. It's just too easy for vermin to come back here. The poster-boy for this is Thomas Scott (sc5)....how many times has he come back with a new handle, probably upwards of 100 by now.

Just a few ideas.....

Thanks for doing that. Lotta great case makers out there. Everyone has there own way of making a case. To much hate in the world today. Good job Jerry ,long over due.Thanks Rich aka the skunk.
 
I can only think of ONE case maker having anything bad to say about anyone else's case . I do not read every post , but I can only remember one . Jim

Have you had any issues with the tubes damaging shafts? A friend of mine had one of those cases and the shaft tubes made indentions in the shafts from the joint up about 5 or 6 inches. Some were so bad that I sent a shaft to a cuemaker to try and fix but it's not likely.

Not one issue, the webbing protects it very well. If I had an issue I would simply replace the webbing with Pool table cloth. :)

I also only remember one person taking shots at only one other case maker. Keeping your name constantly on here makes for some very interesting free marketing. The concept of talking good or bad doesn't matter, as long as their talking about me, is being used by only one that I know of. To take aim at the entire community when only one person needs to be taken care of, is a shame!

I can also say that only one person comes to mind for case bashing.. I'm not picking sides here, just stating my opinion!

I don't think AZ has a problem with the end consumer giving a honest good/bad review of a product they just bought.

Really? Did you just say that in a thread where Jerry explicitly said that is no longer allowed? Not matter what, we can't show the failures/weaknesses of another product to bolster the review of the product I/you own.
 
...and yet in the latest news section there is an article from Aramith.

"Setting the record straight on Aramith..." where they are doing just this,
but pertaining to ball sets.
