Happy Trails to Tony Chohan...

Hey JAM no need to make us all suffer because of one jerk. Keep on keeping on. Your stuff is needed and appreciated.

When your heart aches it doesn't attach a set of values. Whether or not you agree with the punishment, this is about JAM & Keiths love for a friend. I hope when the chips are down we all can count on friends like them.On a sidenote. My idea of a Mosconi Cup is Earl,Rodney, Keith, Hillbilly & Shane for the straight man. Captain would be Mike the Mouth. Need more entertainment in the game.

Great Post!

Daniel,

You hit the nail on the head with very few words. It doesn't even matter what we think is right or wrong, the justice system has ruled and now Tony will do his time. Nothing wrong with his friends hoping it passes as quickly and easily as possible and supporting him in his time of trouble. We can all hope we have friends like that who accept that we aren't perfect and remain our friends.

Well said! Differences of opinion are what forums are about. Insults are another matter. I hope JAM cools off and reconsiders.

I, too, hope that Tony perserveres[sic] & comes out better for it. Tony is good people[sic], and it sucks when bad things happen to good people.

What?

Despite my opinion of him, I also hope he:

1. comes out a 'better' man
2. learns his lesson

However, I would not go as far as making him seem like the victim in this scenario. That is ridiculous -- you're making me cry tears

So who was the victim?

Vag, you are one pretty stealthy dude!

Ionia is centrally located in the state and is in the middle of no where. There is one real tough prison-sandish- near saginaw I heard sandish is closed or some thing like that.that is a real hard place to live.cool:

Was it for wearing those flashy clothes?
JoeyA

you mistook me for somebody.I wear fashionable cloths but not flashy cloths.Even the metal buttons on my Bib overalls from wallmart are not shiny or flashy.

Any word on the sentencing

that was to be held today. I know that the good friends he has will be in his corner.

I wish him the best and think he will be okay, hopefully he does not get institutionalized and comes out a better man. I think that he will be out in less then 7 years, I put the under at 5 1/2. Good luck Tony and God Bless you and yours.

i believe he was sentenced in ohio...and they are very strict these days on letting guys out early. not very likely.
i wish him the very best as well, and hope he straightens everything out. i also hate to hear folks say that it was unfortunate that "bad things" happen to good people, as he did this to himself. but that is why there are 2nd chances, and i really hope he makes the most of it. a great talent, and from what i have heard, a very nice guy.

good luck tony!

Hu, I was thinking the same thing, and I do hope this is something that could happen, lessening the 7 years. Ohio is a little stricter, though, when it comes to incarceration than other States.

Look at Paris Hilton and her DWI. How much of her jail time did she do? Same with the other California socialites. California seems to be more lenient in a lot of their sentencing guidelines. I realize their crimes were different, but I am only making mention about it referring to the comparison of each State's guidelines for sentencing.

Keith is upset about it, and he did get choked up on the phone with Tony saying goodbye. Then I got a little upset too. Today is not a good day at the McCready Ranch! :frown:

Yep.... Ohio is the problem, a guy i went to high school with got 5 years for purchasing a fake kilo of cocaine off of an undercover police officer, he was never busted for anything else or actually caught with an illicit substance, but he did have 50,000 cash on him and they made a case using that somehow....

I'd also like to know where he is. Maybe his prison address can be posted on here. In prison getting mail is like getting a present. The more people that write to him, the faster his time will go by. I'd like to send him some pool mags if they allow it.

Great idea, anything to help pass the time and maybe even help him crack a smile now and then. Hope after this is all over he can get back to living his life hassle free.

the victim? that would be anyone he sold drugs to. right? especially young folks. he was not a victim...he was breaking the law.

but, lets hope he gets his life straightened out!

good luck tony!

Neither were the people who purchased the drugs, unless he ripped them off.

I'm certain that everyone was a willing participant in his endeavor. It appears Tony was looking to be a wholesaler middleman, so he probably didn't sell to the individual consumer.

Not to worry though, he will probably end up on the short end of someones cue. Will he be a victim then, or will he be getting his just deserts?

Here's your second chance..... The chance to be someone's b!tch in prison. I'm certain he'll come out a well rounded law abiding citizen...

I hope they were lenient with him and he is released unviolated from prison as soon as he can get out

People say crap like this all the time, their sole purpose is to get a rise out of their "victim".

No need to be driven to tears Jen, you should be able to let it roll right off, you don't even acknowlege them.

You meet these kind in real life, your going to meet them on the forums too

People that just pop in for a quick jab, aren't worthy of a scathing attack, you just ignore them, because they're inconsequential.

I enjoy your posts, as I'm sure the large majority of people here do. That's all you need to know, in making a decision of what to do.:)

Mirrors my viewpoints perfectly. Ignore the jerks and press on in your goal to improve the pool world with your contributions.
