Joey Korsiak won't honor $100 owed

This fellow presented himself as a professional, and was playing in the professional event in Las Vegas, when he asked to borrow $100 US.

I said, "how do I know I will get it back"

He said " I give you my word as a professional and a man"

I have numerous emails showing he acknowledges he owes the money, but won't pay, and it "will get to me". I will be happy to post these emails from Joey. He has my address, and PayPal account.

I gave him the benefit of the doubt, but keep seeing him playing in events and online challenge matches, the last against Frankie Hernandez. These cost money. He is CHOOSING to not pay me. Not acceptable.

He works at The House of Lords, as there house pro. Correspondence will be made there as of next week. If this fellow has any friends, perhaps you would take over the loan for him, and send me my money. Note, this is not a gambling debt, but a face to face "I need the money" from Joey.

He has one week to pay me, or I will start a campaign to make sure everyone knows about his deceit, and the fact that his word means nothing.

C'mon Joey be a man, and stick by your word. Work this out.

Lending money is like going to Vegas, never give/lose more than you can afford! If I loan someone money, it's an amount that doesn't matter to me if I get it back or not...however, I choose wisely on who I lend to.

Boy i feel sorry for you when cliff sees you!

I never lend more money then the friendship is worth. Guess how much I lend to a stranger. Not A fricking penny!

Well, while everyone seems to be jumping on the "you're an idiot" train...I would commend you for what you did...not a lot of people would do that nowadays...and unfortunately this is a good reason why they don't...

So, kudos to you for having the heart to lend someone some money who was apparently down on their luck...

Now, having said that...and this is just my opinion...maybe you can meet up with him back in Vegas...the desert is a very very very big place with more than one unclaimed corpse out there...just a thought...

"Stick it to me once...shame on you. Stick it to me twice...shame on me!"

All the people saying he shouldn't have lent him the money are right, but that doesn't change the fact that he should get paid back.

Dear Turd,

I know we aren't all that close, in fact we don't know each other at all, but I am in a bit of a pickle here. I fancy myself as a professional (aspiring) and a hell of a man and I could use a small loan. If I help you spread the word about that deadbeat that stiffed you for that money, could I possibly hold a hundred?

D<---- I will gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today......

If everything happened just like you have posted above the guy is a Nit / Scumbag, and sooner or later he will get what he deserves.

I would just write it off $100 is not worth loosing any sleep over especially when your the only one doing it, I mean do you really think this guy cares how you feel or even how he looks.

Now, I hope that this not another case where we are only hearing one side of story that isn't completely true. However, I have no reason not to support you unless I find out other wise.

Grow up for God sakes.

Grow up for God sakes.

Given the two sides of the situation if things are as described you are taking Joey's side on this?

If you mean "grow up" and don't lend people you don't know money then I agree, if you mean "grow up" and suck it up and let the guy steal the $100 with noone ever hearing a thing so he can do it to another 10 people then we do not.

Who is the "we" you are referring to please?

Thanks

If Cliff was actually "holding" the money he owes you, me and everyone else he wouldn't be able to walk under the weight of all that money.
