I would say that game looks straight then. If John doesn't like it, change the 10-ball to even on a bartable. :p

you would do good make all my games for me.
you are right on this one.
do a poll i dont know how to with the games i offered.

Polls asking who people think would win each of them or who would win the all-around?

Well now we have two....oh well. We can see if they get the same results.

It would be kinda messed up if one had Chris as a big winner and the other as John. I guess we'd have to make it a best of 3 and start another one then. LOL.

I believe iba is trying to make the same point that I stated earlier, you'll pick 14.1 against anyone (accept maybe the Europeans) that accepts your challenge. Here's a list of, IN MY OPINION, the top 10 American players (you would be on this list, John, if you could challenge yourself, lol) so what game would you pick against each of them?

In no particular order:
Archer
Nevel
SVB
Deuel
O. Dominguez
Hatch
Moore
Morris
Bryant
Putnam

I'll take a shot at this since I know John better than most:

Archer - 1 pocket
Nevel - 14.1
SVB - 1 pocket or 14.1
Corey - 14.1
Oscar - 1 pocket or 14.1
Hatch - 1- pocket
Moore - 1- pocket or 14.1
Morris - 1 pocket or 14.1
Bryant - 14.1
Putnam - 14.1

As you can see he would not choose 14.1 in every case.

I just came across this gem from the 2001 Viking Tour Nationals on facebook and though I'd post it to add a little more humor to this thread. If it wasn't for the Nautica shirt I might have flew right past this.

you are about 160......but that means a whole bunch.

The rep meter thingy is a big stupid ass rubbing contest. The same guys continually rep each other to stay towards the top of the list for some reason. Hey, I guess everyone needs to feel important.

Trying to sneak in on "The best post of the decade", huh?

after looking at that i might not eat for a week.

i take pride in the fact that guys like sigel, varner, souquet, martin, robles, harriman etc etc who do take 14.1 seriously and some have played 30 years of it have not run in the 400s. i know thats just practice so it doesnt mean much but trust me if sigel and varner havent run over 400 and they practiced it 20 years

Not to mention that they didn't do it on a tough Diamond like you did.... How many balls is that worth?

Ha!

I think I'll go vote one poll one way and the other poll the other way just for grins.
