You were so tired I think you dreamt about meeting up with Scott and paying him, he has no reason to lie about it so just quit with your stories. He was with Billy when you said you paid him. Are you going to report the truck stolen like you threatened Scott with weeks ago after he paid you 10,000 for it?, are you going to give him the title? I heard the cops let him leave with it. You should just pay and save yourself all this trouble, hope it was all worth 50k. I am sure your a decent guy Dippy just having bad judgment on this one. Billy has done a great deal for the game and is a fine rep, as for myself I cant say I do more for the game then you, I cant put 100's of thousands in the players pockets but I do my part. :wink:

Is it possible that your recollection of meeting Scott and Billy afterward to pay up is mistaken? Why would they say you hadn't paid if you did?

Bringing in a tush hog might not have been the smartest thing to do !
I know emotions are on tilt but if there is money left to be paid...bringing in a 350 lb tush hog might have sealed the deal on debt.."if there is one"..on never getting paid..same thing happened to Da lil Arab & the Diamond mechanic Mark over much less $15,000 years back & to this day Gary hasn't been paid..guy that was in with Gary had someone try & get the money in which he was able to get $1000 out of Mark but to this day years later Gary hasn't got what's owed to him.
Isn't Scott alot bigger than Dave anyway ? must not be scared of him from what has been written bout Spitting at him...If Scott would have been the one ruffling the feathers it would have been much better than a hired gun IMO...Hopefully this can get resolved even tho it's not likely at this point.

It was only yesterday that I posted how being in the stiffing business could be hazardous to one's health. Now, less than 24 hours later we have reports of a 6' 8" Samoan goon coming to chat with Dippy and grabbing him by the throat? This makes sense.
Now that Billy has chimed in, the room is getting a little smaller for Dippy. And, as the always-level-headed Nathan suggested, it would be nice to hear first-hand from Scott for his side of the story, but to be honest, we may not need to. Most of the pieces of this puzzle are now together and I must say, it does look like a "Viffer Stiffer".
The only remote possibility that could have supported Dippy's claim would be that if he paid Scott and now Scott is bagging all of his buddies, and in particular, Mr. Incardona. This theory has been dispelled by the distinguished Billy Incardona himself, right here in this thread. And just like Lenny's account, it has the ring of truth to it, complete with details of the conversation they had with Dippy right after the 3rd match and then again later where Dippy gave a BS answer to Billy about when and where he supposedly paid Scott.
Facts mixed with Speculation & Hypothesis (is such a thing permissable?): Mr. Dippy lost some big dollars to pool players and he obviously has (had?) a lot of gamble in him. Went up against Scott and found himself down two sets for big money. As reported, Scott had a close hit that was watched by Bartram (friend of Dippy) and was called clean. Despite Dippy posting here yesterday that he didn't even watch the hit, reports are that Dippy declared it was a bad hit and further stated that he wasn't gonna pay for that set. So naturally, the Freezer gets pissed off to the extent that he's spitting mad, literally. Billy, who's been there so many times and has the complete set of t-shirts, with a cool head tries to keep things moving forward in a positive way and gets Scott to spot up the 9 and resume play. The Freezer is now melting down in full deFrost mode, Dippy is trying with all his might to make a comeback but ultimately he's overmatched. He must have been thinking I'm not gonna be a golden goose for this guy who is stomping and spitting (even though his *Dippy's* whining about the bad hit, fueled it).
And so here we are. Added insight by Billy regarding a car sale where Dippy won't give Scott the title, etc., all points toward big sour grapes between Scott and Dippy. Dippy must be trying to teach him a lesson.
Until and unless Dippy can come up with credible info on when, where, and who saw him pay Scott, this court finds Dippy Dave guilty of stiffing in the first degree. There will be a $50,000 fine assessed and if not paid within 48 hours, you will be remanded to a Samoan village where you will be made to feel very uncomfortable.
The cue ball is in your court.

dang I missed all the fun.Yesterday around 5pm R.W with two of his poker player friends came to Cue club and camped around table 10 where a high roller one pocket and poker player was practicing.Every thing was quiet.I left the place at 5:30PM.

He has 50,000 reasons to lie. Based on the information given, its hard to say who's right and who's wrong. Both sides sounds convincing enough.
What strikes me as odd, Billy said that Frost bought an SUV from Dippy and paid him for it. Now, if Dippy owed Scott $50k, why is he paying for anything?
Also, Billy said he had $25k and a rolex on him. So did Billy and Scott get that $25k and rolex?
who said Scott didn't protest? certainly not me. Scott was infuriated whren Dipper accused him of holding out on me.

I shouldn't respond to one of your posts because you have already judged me and deemed me an a**hole from comments I made on another thread, but you have just tried, convicted, and sentenced DD on nothing but circumstantial evidence (although I too believe DD is the guilty party here). Scott needs to be heard from. What he could say could put a lot of questions to rest. And....am I the only one to think it a bit strange that Lenny's name wasn't even mentioned in Billy's original post? Things are certainly turning strange (and ugly), but I guess that's just the "nature of the beast".
I am taking no ones side here, but it certainly looks like Dippy may be the one in the wrong here. I am in the camp of those who have an utmost respect for Billy I. and what he reports.
