YEAH, me to!! Kinda like being half loaded and spotting an exotic lady in a real dark bar. What ya gonna do???????????

I was always a gambler at heart ( when I had nothing to lose) so I'm goin for it............:)

i'd try it if i was in a financial situation that would let me gamble. let us know if you booked a winner

Out of pocket

Can I ask why you wouldn't just guarantee a refund on your cue if the buyer doesn't like it? Provided it's returned in good condition or whatever stipulations you want. It could be something simple that the buyer doesn't like. Such as the taper or the finish.. I personally prefer cues with a wrap. I'm sure if it's a quality cue you will have plenty of customers.

I would rather pay 300.00 for a Sneaky pete than 1.000 any day. If it doesn't hit the way you like, sell it to someone it fits. Everybody plays different. If you can't sell it, you have a 300.00 piece of firewood. poolrod.

Exactly. It could also be a good tomato stake. He spells it out as it is. $300 isn't a ton. The worst you can do is fit a Predator or OB-1 shaft to it. This is a full splice butt with a tung oil finish. The kind that legends were made out of. As I stated I am willing to take a gander. I blown $300 a lot faster and didn't have anything to show for it after except for the memory.

I'll pass....

Interesting but I will pass and wait on some feedback from the sellers. If I wanted to gamble I would go to one of the casinos here in Florida.
Best of luck luck to those who purchases one of the cues and please let me (us) know how or if your game has improved using the aforementioned product

one cue is left in batch 2

your wait is about 2 months

This cue is made by a retired engineer who loves pool in Texas

One last cue at $300 and the cost goes up

This is way under the market, now but we are either going to QUIT MAKING THEM or make them for $!ooo,
why would anyone pay that much for a relatively plain cue?

because they play better,

Now lets say for the sake of argument only 2 of the first 4 buyers like the cue,you have to ask yourself one question...."Is it worth $300 to take a chance that I could play better pool' would that be an even money bet?Aren't pool players sopposed to like to gamble anyway?

To the person who says I will never buy without pictures...
I take that to mean you have never ordered yourself a new cue(pictures are not possible )

Now if he says" yeah but I hearda dis guy."We have finally got to the root of the matter,Do you think that after all these years ot selling high $ cues to the absolute best collectors that I am going tell you a big lie to sell a few $300 cues

They work for me ,several guys down here like them, and some don't

What could be plainer than that?Call 214 477 7323 get the last one before the price increase.

Hey Dean,
Thanks for the pm but again, no pics and no guarantee will make me pass.
I will be anxiously checking and waiting on some feedback from the buyers.
Merry Christmas and best of luck to you on your sale.

This thread absolutely amazes the hell out of me.

I hope everybody opens there box and finds a Schick sneaky or something.

Good to see you are only shooting for a 50% acceptance rate on your product. Maybe TAR should try this.

"We are going to tape a Match. In 2 Months. Won't tell you who is in it, won't tell you what they are gonna play. Send me $100. Don't send it if you are gonna complain if you don't like it. I don't have time for that."

F'n amazing.

Can't wait to see the reaction when the magic sneaky's fail to turn everyone into Efren and people try to unload them.

Predator should hire the this guy for their marketing....they would save a ton on photography and printing. I can see the new slogan now

"Just buy it. But only if you got gamble"

going up

And after this the price goes up to $1000!?? For a sneaky with no wrap and no finish and 1 shaft. Not too many FAMOUS cuemakers get that for the same. Definitely looking forward to some feedback for the people who did purchase these cues. And, if they are in my area.. stop by and let's test out your game. :)

Wow! the logic here kills me. I think I would rather go for a cue that 8 out of 10 players like. So you say it's a $300 gamble with 50% odds you won't like the cue?

Hello Dean

This is by far the most interesting sales strategy I have ever seen.

No Pics..just send the dough and if you don't like the cue, tough.

Just that easy. Who knew?

There is a lot to be said for balls bigger than the ones on the pool table, and you've got them :D I, for one, am looking forward to you being on AZB with the rest of us. This has been a fun thread.

Let me get this straight...

By design, you say that this cue should make me a better pool player.

Can your friend please engineer a car for my wife??? Her driving scares the crap out of me!!!

Interesting thread indeed.

As far as the cue though, the taper sounds an awful lot like the Shuler cue that Bob Byrne used with that conical (European?) taper. I remember him hitting the cue against his hand in the video and the shaft didn't move. Very stiff. He also said the tip was something like 11.5 millimeter or so.

While this would probably be more accurate, the vast majority of pool players probably would not like it, as it is drastically different than a Pro taper.

I'd be interested to hear what the buyers say about the cues, and also be very interested to see some pictures of the cue they receive.

Oh, and if they don't like it, I might be interested in picking one of these up on the secondary market for about $200!!!
