its been several days and we got no word from you regarding your interest on getting the red-winged black bird case. let us know if you are still interested so you don't keep us hangin. we reserved the case for you and there are others who are very much interested to get it. we are just holding the release of the case to others since we got your PM that you will get it so we held it for you, and its been a while now.

Why aren't you working? You weren't among the recently laid off, were you?

Work has kept me from ramping up my game. I lost a close co-worker to cancer, another is away on a family emergency and yet another is being investigated on criminal charges. All this happening at the height of summer, our busy season. If I manage to survive all of this, I'm looking to go on the road and forget about things for awhile!

It's been a long time since I visited OC. Actually, the last time was when I came with Lil and Larry. In fact, I should contact them to infom them of your league. They enjoy that kind of thing.

Keep up the straight shooting because when I make it down there, I'm taking no prisoners!

Well we are FINALLY starting a BCA league down here in the OC. DJ and I are putting it together starting Sept. 8 I had an interesting inquiry on my facebook page wondering if I was "Plush-Pocket Darin ??? I know through me for a loop. Anyway it was Cotton. We chatted a bit and he has a book coming out pretty quick. I got his number and will probably hook up with him in Vegas next week. How are things? I have been off work now a couple weeks and shooting a lot. I almost have to try and miss now just to keep it interesting... just kidding I wish... but i am playing better than ever.

Hey Kyle. I'm sorry to say I don't know of a single 12 footer in your area. The privately owned ones have all disappeared too. I actually live in the Houston area and know of several down here. The only commercial 12 footer left is in Caspers. (Bogies and Cheetah have shuttered now too.) My best advice, without trying to sound racist, is to go to your "china town" and find a local pool hall and ask around. All privately owned snooker table that I know off in the USA are all owned by either Indians or Chinese.
Anyway, I'm always looking for people to play, so if you ever feel up for the drive, come on down. My table is in perfect condition (just put new baize on to practice for the nationals). Haven't decided if I'm gonna put the old pocket leathers back or not....
