P.S. If we were not stiffed then we would not be here so I am unsure if that is my fault, one thing I have realized from this that I will be spending less public pool time and start more personal playing time along with family/work time from now on. It was a fun vacation but it gets old and even though the share of good people I have met outweighs the scumbags and know/do nothings in the pool world, it just is not worth it to me.

You posting the initial thread, Lenny, and then Billy with this thread has created a sudden surge of visitors (members and lurkers) to this forum. The amount of people online at one time is much higher than normal.
I wonder if I'll get my work done this week. I keep clicking on AzBilliards to find out the latest pool smut now!
I hope a remedy comes forth soon to satisfy all parties.

Bustys game was like 4 break ball in hand and 17 games to 35 was insane...Scott with break ball in hand and the 5 is like 100 games winner so in my mind he had no chance to lose..
What im saying is scott shouldve acted right or made peace after he acted a fool like he always does and he might have gotten offered a buyout or even got paid thats if he really didnt which is about 50/50 that he did. and so what if the guy didnt pay he blew like 300k to scott with him playing or someone else playing and i never saw dippy win a set but heard he won like 1 lol....so basically all these game they had no chance to lose so whatever they got paid is a bonus

Just stating my opinion man. The whole deal is kind of amusing to me because Dippy is a pretty smart dude when it comes to manipulating things. It is classic strategy, find your opponents weakness and exploit it when faced with questions deflect, deny and foment dissent. Basic Art of War shit.
If someone did air me for $50K I hope I would be able to reach some sort of settlement. Being older and wiser I know that once you take things to the next level you have to be prepared to go all the way and in almost all cases it just isn't worth it.
I used to know some guys in the high risk money lending and sports wagering industry. Things usually didnt get violent but when it reached a certain level it could get sideways pretty quick and when it became personal things got dangerous.
Owing money is one thing. Saying some of the things said in this thread is personal on a level that changes the dynamic. Personally I think Scott tries to project a certain image at times that is just that an image. He isn't a tough guy. If he was Dippy would have went to the hospital long ago. But if you push a guy far enough it is not that big a leap to see where he would simply stop worrying about consequences.
Regarding Samoans I have fought enough and been around long enough to know there is always someone badder out there, but the ones who are really dangerous are the guys who just don't care because they feel like they have nothing to lose. Thats why if you decide to engage you must have the will do to what it takes to win and accept the consequences that come with that. Hopefully both Dippy and Scott consider this.
As for what I would do.....whatever it was no one would ever read about it on the internet I promise you that.

Good thoughts, Lenny. Getting sucked too deeply into the pool world defeats the purpose of making it an enjoyable pastime.
I have to kick myself in the butt when I spend too much time playing or practicing. It becomes like a job. There are so many ways to enjoy your family life and work on other important things. There is but an all too short window of time to do this, then it closes.
Despite the fact that pool is the game we all love, life can be enjoyed in many rich and diverse ways when we are not obsessed with just one of them.

If people did not think you were wrong before, after the incident with stealing HIS truck and stuff like messing with his career and livelihood they should open their eyes and see it now.
