Lighten up it's just the Internet.
Wow, you finally figured this out? As for JCIN, make sure Tim Curry gets a shave and plays The Freezer.

Don't start talking back to me Mr. Lenny The Lock it's your fault we're here. And i mean that in the nicest possible way.
Better we are here then in Vegas.
P.S. If we were not stiffed then we would not be here so I am unsure if that is my fault, one thing I have realized from this that I will be spending less public pool time and more personal playing time along with family/work time from now on. It was a fun vacation but it gets old and even though the share of good people I have met outweighs the scumbags and know/do nothings in the pool world, it just is not worth it to me.
First - your story above is no way related by comparision to the issues here.
Dippy hasn't asked for a buyout. He has ripped into Scott's character many times while Scott (or his mouthpiece (s) on the internet have been quiet about his). Dippy has flat out done, well two things - refused to pay Scott, (this is not a buyout) and then came back and told the world that Scott was paid in the Valet of Aria. This is called a stiff - not a buyout. A buyout would have been, hey Scott all I got is $25K and a Rolex worth $4K - how about you take this and we call it even for the day. I will also sell you this Tahoe I got laying around for $10K so you can be a baller like me. I am gonna rest up and see you in a few days and we can POST and play some more. Getting $0 on a $50K bet is not a buyout. Or if Dippy felt he was cheated (and if the story of Bartram calling the hit good, then he shouldn't feel so on that action - the bathroom story if that is true than yes), then he should tell Scott here is my buyout offer. You got yours. Enjoy it, tell em where you got it. But I am going to the next champion in line cause I don't gamble with people that don't treat me what I consider fair.
With all this, I am getting confused on the different games---
What was the game Scott gave Dippy and what was the game that Busty gave Dippy? I just want to clarify your point that Scott had no chance to lose.
I know they invented gambling and all in Ohio but where I come from a buyout such as this wouldn't sit very well. Not to mention the other unexcusables. Again - everyone should always try to do what is right and worry about the wrongs later.
Hey, I should get a jelly roll for adding all the posts before the 1,000 mark, so Mike could win!
Do the right thing, Mike. I take money orders! :grin-square:
Just stating my opinion man. The whole deal is kind of amusing to me because Dippy is a pretty smart dude when it comes to manipulating things. It is classic strategy, find your opponents weakness and exploit it when faced with questions deflect, deny and foment dissent. Basic Art of War shit. You were so brilliant and funny earlier today. What happened. And you were trying to tell us how all this was entertainment and not to be taken seriously. all of a sudden you're taking it very seriously again. I'm never going to believe.....
by the way he didn't have to blow millions. He had to blow $50,000 and I never said he did. Just more of the mountains of circumstancial evidence to sift through for the avid readers. A lot of people are throwing in a lot of stuff weaker than that and you don't have any evidence one way or the other either.
Why is taking a truck back after being strongarmed in a middle of a public poolroom such a horrible thing to have happen. To me that's an ultimate act of desperation. I believe you might have done worse revenge if someone attempted that on you.. Although we've established there are no samoans bigger than you and not to mention willing to take you on.
I don't know who's telling the truth.

i will come to the derby as long as scott frost isnt allowed there, he is a disgrace to pool.

He will be there for sure, every year probably for the rest of his life, he has 4 years to do something, its the biggest bet of his life to do something at the Derby, will he or wont he? You might be able to get down on the bet but you have to post.

If someone did air me for $50K I hope I would be able to reach some sort of settlement. Being older and wiser I know that once you take things to the next level you have to be prepared to go all the way and in almost all cases it just isn't worth it.
I used to know some guys in the high risk money lending and sports wagering industry. Things usually didnt get violent but when it reached a certain level it could get sideways pretty quick and when it became personal things got dangerous.
Owing money is one thing. Saying some of the things said in this thread is personal on a level that changes the dynamic. Personally I think Scott tries to project a certain image at times that is just that an image. He isn't a tough guy. If he was Dippy would have went to the hospital long ago. But if you push a guy far enough it is not that big a leap to see where he would simply stop worrying about consequences.
Regarding Samoans I have fought enough and been around long enough to know there is always someone badder out there, but the ones who are really dangerous are the guys who just don't care because they feel like they have nothing to lose. Thats why if you decide to engage you must have the will do to what it takes to win and accept the consequences that come with that. Hopefully both Dippy and Scott consider this.
As for what I would do.....whatever it was no one would ever read about it on the internet I promise you that.
i just got off the phone with scotts lawyer,
here is what i told him so there isnt any kis understandings,
please sue me, id love to hear you argue this case in front of a judge.
ill take odds and bet scott doesnt play this years derby city, along with the restraining order i am getiing vs him, good luck to him.
A restraining order?, great move, lmao. Dippy, he will be at Derby for sure, he is given a room there every year and is a defending CHAMPION. I will bet he is playing at the Derby as long as he is a FREE man, $4000 sound okay?
You should just have a $100,000 added one pocket tournament and bar him.i just got off the phone with scotts lawyer,

who ever has the bet with him, contact me it might make me push harder to keep scott from playing in the derby.
come to think of it i might just sponsor the derby city if it is available,

That would show him.
Call it Dippy's Wonderful World of One Pocket.
Everyone in the field gives you 16-4.

Both you guys could give it a rest anytime now. You both like having the last word. Let it play out.
