His wife just called Legend's Billiards in League City, Texas to let them know he is in the hospital and not doing well.

He was at the Houston Open and said he wasn't feeling well and left to go to the hospital. His wife just called the pool hall back to let them know what's going on.

Please keep us informed if you find out anything....I live in Calif. but own 5 Olivier cues and see Jerry every year in Vegas. I've spent a lot of time talking with Jerry and my wife and I like him very much....We are really concerned about the news...We are praying everything will be O.K....

I've only met Jerry once (this year's DCC), and he is a GREAT guy!!! Hope the Dr.s get him feeling better and back to 100% quickly! My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

WOW! This is shocking news. I have known Jerry several years-always a smile and in good spirits. Spent several hours around his booth at the Galveston event.

Any info on what is the problem? He is not that old - maybe mid 40's.

I am hoping everything is gonna be OK.

Please keep us posted. He is one of the sponsor's of the event at Legend's goinng on this weekend.

Same here I must have spent 20 hours in his booth in Galveston and he seemed as strong as an ox, I hope whatever is ailing him is something temporary and that he'll beat. Wish him the best!!

They announced at the tournament that Jerry has had a stint put in his heart and he is doing much better. He is at southeast memorial.

Hang in there Jerry.. you still have LOT'S of work to do :D I've always enjoyed talking with Jerry, which was usually in his booth at the BCA Nationals. He loves to talk about cues and always has something nice to say. Get well soon!
