Josswest finished

After almost 45 years of cuemaking I am finally retiring to play more pool.

I am taking no more orders and doing no more repairs.

My thanks to all the people that have supported Josswest for all these years.

I still have a small amount of work to finish. Not much.

Don't worry Jay, I will.

Can you tell me more about the break and run one pocket?
Just open break and start running balls?
5 racks?

Big pockets? small pockets?

Glad you missed the weather in the Phill.

old times

Billy,
I am going to try to get to the derby. I want to go for a ride in that Audi.
If you are too busy I would be happy to take it out by myself. Remember
when we were going to that pool hall on Forest Ave. in Dallas, we were
in that Lotus you had and it exploded. That is the reason I think it would
be best if I broke the new one in for you. That was also about the time
that little dog of yours, I think his name was Bear bit my finger. It has
never been the same. I haven't been able to pick my nose since.
Good luck my friend,
jack potter

Bill,

That was an amazing run - 40+ years and still going strong. So much for you to be proud of, so many innovations, happy customers, and so much enthusiasm for the game. I don't know how you pulled it off, but you did and you certainly are as well known as any person in the industry.

It must be difficult to say "no more" - I'm just happy I have my Josswest player and I'll continue to hold onto it with both hands.

Good luck - I hope we can play if and when we run into each other again.

So how does it feel to be such a prominent part of the history of cue making?

I bet you really didn't imagine that when you set up shop with Dan Janes in the late sixties.

My hat is off to you. If I am lucky, someday I will own one of your cues.

Best of luck on the tables. From what I hear you didn't lose much being away from it all these years. And I can bet your equipment will always be the best in the room. Everybody is going to want to know what you are shooting with down to the millimeter....probably more than they want to know what the leading pros are shooting with.

The best is yet to come.......

Lifes work well done Bill.

Enjoy your retirement. When you look back, you'll know that you left a legacy in every cue that is still being used, for decades and more.

I will be sure and introduce myself at Derby. Your cues are awesome and I am looking forward to seeing you play some.
