Not only did Sarah do well in Music City, but her performance in the challenge match at DCC was also superlative.

WELL DONE SARAH...good luck during the upcoming WPBA year.
 
If more players would take Sarah as a role model for her behavior and heart at the table it would be a much better place. She deserves every win she gets. May this just be the start of better things to come in the new year!

Yes, she did. She beat Monica in bumps (banks) and one hole, but was on the short end in 10-ball when Monica stepped up her break and shooting.

Sarah's fine performance in bumps gave her a new nickname by tAR: Sarah "Bumper" Rousey. I doubt it'll stick, but it might be better than "C-4" or "The Grumpy Munchin." OTOH, I really like the Grumpy Munchkin.

Anyhoos, she just followed it up with a win in the Ladies division of the Music City Open over Grace Nakamura. Hence this thread.

great work bumper!!! i gave her that name becouse she banks like no other! so lets hear it for sarah"bumper"rousey! nice work kid! tar is proud of you!
 
I had the pleasure of saying hello to Sarah at the DCC a couple of times. She is a very gracious and kind person. A true asset to the game of pool and the pool community.

For my money, the best Banker among the women is still Vivian. When Sarah can take her, I will be VERY impressed. Jeanette might be #2.
 
Allision can bank with the best of the women. She just doesn't have to that much as she's seldom out of position. VV is always out of position in 9-ball so has had plenty of practice:D Johnnyt

Thanks everyone. It is a good tournament to win although the field was not as tough this year as it has been in the past so it isn't an incredible win. Thanks for the kind words and I hope to play well this year on tour. I'd like to make everyone proud.

Jay, you are right, I'm not the best banker. Maybe Viv should be the next person to do the action challenge. I also agree, Jeanette banks well and Allison definitely banks as good as anyone.
