Good point...

I'd like to see the players succeed though. I know a few of them on a personal level. It's rough living, and it sucks to see them get their hopes up. They really got the short end tonight.
 
It's horrifying to imagine what the broadcast would have been like if the arena was finished on schedule...they clearly aren't ready for primetime.
 
I'll call it a beta test and say there's a lot to be learned. I imagine next week's matches will be free, too, so I'll give it another shot then. Hopefully that's enough time to tap into some additional streaming expertise.
 
First time tuning it... it's not watchable.

I will say that the Venom, Mika, and Running Out DVDs are phenomenal. Nathan and crew did a great job with those. I couldnt really get into bonus ball from the beginning. The teams, uniforms, shotclock, new game and how it's played just seemed opposite of what pool is to me.

I figured I would check it out but the stream is really not watchable and I'm running on a great connection.
 
Switch to UStream and its still no where close to being acceptable.

I'll head on off to the hall. Theres bound to be some pool there.
 
ok I've tried giving them a chance; I think I would actually like the game but I'm not willing to give this amateur event a chance anymore. Call Bigtruck; call JCIN, call somebody. If you even can't get the stream right how in the hell are we supposed to think anything else is going to be ok. I'm done and out; bonus ball is now in recycle bin. I wish the pros luck; hope none of them got duped too bad with this fiasco.
 
Yeah I tried but I can't do it anymore. The game and stream both lack flow. Also, this makes me appreciate TAR even more. Always top notch, fantastic stream, and entertaining. You get your money's worth with Justin and the rest of the TAR crew.

I was watching that thing they were showing tonight and I saw some very talented players doing their level best to play and be professional in an absurd setting. These players deserve better than they are getting here.

The game itself looks like a Chinese fire drill with partners running back and forth and all around to beat the crazy 24 second clock or even worse at the end of a game. The pockets make them look silly on occasion. Those things are nuts for a spectator game.Through it all the players last night and tonight did an honest job of giving it their best shot. That is the only positive thing I have seen so far. The players should be proud of how they carried themselves so far. Everyone else involved needs some serious work.
 
Man I got to go buy TAR34 to wash this shit out of my mind. Any more and I will need medication. Single Malt, One Cube, Good Idea.

Sorry again, but this is like a grade B movie production, a terrible script, bad outfits and even worse actors, the set seems acceptable, but still lacking "something".

I think that before it's too late, BB may want to rethink their entire business model, and this time listen and hear what the public wants. IMO.
