I would watch a man practice for an hour and if he missed more than one time I knew he couldn't beat me. ~~Wimpy Lassiter~~
Happy Birthday to you! Wishing you peace, love, and good health in the coming years!

Jay, I am burning the candle at both ends with pool tournaments. Been to a bunch already this year. Headed to Lafayette, LA this weekend. Going to North Dakota in April. I am not sure but I think I am going to too many tournaments. Never thought I would see myself saying that. Lol We have another BIG tournament in June or July in Tunica, MS Haven't made plans for that either but I can't justify going to big events every month. I have been trying to attend some new tournaments while supporting those close to my locale. Can't say I won't go but I'll consider it. Thanks for the invite.
Joey, why don't you come out for the big One Pocket tourney in May in Vegas. Fly to L.A. and I will pick you up and we can go together. That would be fun for both of us. Jay
I'm glad it helped. This is the one, strongest aiming technique in the world because it helps to keep the dominant eye in the dominant position. It helps make Perfect Aim work. When you mix in all the rest the results are pretty awsome.
I can't believe nobody teachs this?
Your on the way to shooting the best pool of your life.
Call anytime after 8:00 central time. Talk to you later geno..........

Did you ever hear how Gary vs Mitch Craven turned out about 3 weeks ago? I just joined the forum and I read that on here. I've seen Mitch play in Springfield before, he's a pretty solid player. Thank you
Scott
Yes i do bar boxes most people dont look at how the design of the table affects the play.
rails are cavity backed ie hollow to hide extra cloth. weakens the rebound and makes a hollow sound when hit hard. 5/8-3/4" slate one piece with 6 supports under it no adjustments just add shims to raise no way to tweak it really. All coin op tables have same problems except Diamond Tables they do have a few querks but they are fixing them.

I am currently in Cleveland Ohio for 2-4 months another meeting with Time Warner cable if i like the way things are going I will be here for a little bit paying better then California.

look into ridgeback rails and good quality clothand better balls make a world of difference.
If you do bar boxes, you may want to contact Cony Mendoza of http://dvpool.com/ or Jeannie Parker, the owner of Vinnie's Bar & Grill in Concord. There are a slew of bar tables in this area that are always in need of work. At least, I'm constantly asked about it. Players sometimes ask me too. There are supposed to be a few guys out here that work on tables, but for whatever reason either people don't like their work (and I believe with good reason) or they aren't available for contact.
Bombed out in the calcutta tournament tonight in Simms,TX., but managed to pick up some coin afterwards, Calvin finshed 2nd!

I will be playing the artistic pool world championship there. Hope u can make it
Rod. Did you get the cue (Joss) yet? I'm in London and an joys to know. Delivery was supposed to be on Friday
Thanks for your concern, I just got back from a 10 day road trip installing tables. I'll be back on more regularly now.

Hooked up with a player from Florida last night that was passing through Arkadelphia,AR., I got behind at the start, then played my game and got winner midway, then we broke even at closing time, first real action I've had in awhile!

Larry, see if this link works for you. This guy is simply amazing. Fred ain't got nuttin' on this guy. BTW, how was lunch? Now if you did eat lunch at the College today don't think that just because it was Philipino food that you'll be playing like one. :rotflmao:
