Sadly I don't think they will talk much on here anymore. I think it's gonna end without a rematch. Sad though. Borana has the nuts, I would guess just needs a backer with a ton of heart.

I don't know if that is a problem or not. I said, "I would guess". She may have $4k laying around just waiting for this, or she might need a backer... don't know. Just a guess.
 
I'm guessing this match will go off eventually. It will never happen to me, I'm sure, but if I ever do win a set (that's the part that will probably never happen) and they say "let's do it again even and double the bet", I'll look like Doc f*ckin Holliday going for the coin. Probably break 3 fingers and rip the pocket off my pants trying to come up with a quarter.

actually, being a forum, the opposite should happen. if they want to match up and not get people giving their 2 cents on it, then they shouldn't do it on a public forum, otherwise everyone should be able to say what they need/want to... :)

but then again...i'm just a newbie

We will play the same game we played at the BCAPL Championships earlier this year. The details were:

- Race to 21
- Rack your own
- Lag for the first break
- Nine-ball on the break doesn't count in the bottom two pockets
- Cue ball fouls only
- Jump cues allowed

The original bet was $2,000. This time, the bet will be $4,000.


I would like to play on Thursday, October 21, when you are done with your matches for the day at the U.S. Open 9-Ball Championships. If you happen to play very late into the evening at the tournament, we can reschedule for Friday the 22nd. I propose we play at Q-Master in Virginia Beach, on one of their 9ft Diamond tables.

I font think this match will happen for $4000 and I think Borana is making a mistake not taking the big bet and alienating the az crowd as well. She must not have an agent. She would be a favorite in NY with good rest.

that's the funniest thing i've heard this week. Talk about being out of bleeping touch with reality.
 
I don't argue semantics so whether "alienating" is what it is or not is not debatable for me. I just know if I was her agent I would not want her saying what she did about "thread bs" when the pool community that you are selling your product to is so tiny.

I apologize if some people took offense to my reply. I was just upset because we have each others emails and phone numbers and if she wants to play me, she should contact me herself first instead of just posting online what the game is and where I should play her, basically putting me on the spot.

And no I am not doing this for the "fans". I did not play her for any of that. I have learned that in order to improve my game, I have to stop caring about what people think. She called me out he first time and I went and played her without caring about anything.

Anytime Melinda wants to play, just come to New York anytime she wants and I will play her. It doesn't have to be streamed. So lets end this comments about "fans" and "attention" and "beauty peagents" please.
