Watching last nights podcast, it occured to me that TAR podcasts would be more entertaining, likely more focused, and stronger deliver it's content with an Intern or Newscaster type, preferably (*ahem*) a nice looking lady.

Vegas has gotta have a million of qualified types - and maybe even a few that are into pool.

I agree, TAR needs a weather girl.

Fans need to see how the wind effects certain shots.

I vote for OMGWTF. She is smart, quick with the comeback, and wouldn't be afraid to ask the tough questions. Johnnyt

Would be nice if they put Shane and other pros to do a series of rating drills for them to explain how they do them. Drills we could post ourselves here in AZ that we are having problems with or something. I wonder if I post that if they would make them do it.

I like the idea of some kind of skill test type drill that all the guys could try and we keep track of who does the best. Kind of like a Top Gear thing.

Good idea.

I think you mean ASK them to do it. Johnnyt

That is an excellent idea. Also, is the podcast going to be uploaded to Youtube soon? I missed it when I had league last night.

In my experience most trained "talent" types come across as very fake in niche subjects. I wish Jen Barretta lived in Vegas. She is awesome on camera and has the knowledge of the game to not be cheesy.

That said I'm open to try whatever. So if there are any hot chicks that know pool and want to spend an hour with me and Mark Griffin every week for no money please contact me. Please be patient though as I expect the response to be overwhelming and it may take some time to process all the applicants.

Yup. I had an audio issue with the web version capture so I have to compress the giant Tricaster file. It probably will not get done until Monday unfortunately.

Did this gambling with Shane up in Iowa --

Rack rotation- he gets to break and then has to run, from where the cue ball is after the break, four balls in order and he can start with any ball. Scratch on the break is an authomatic loss. IE - he can start with pocketing the 7 ball and then has to make the 8, 9, 10 to win. You can do it where they are or are not allowed to go 14, 15, 1, 2. Also, if for example, you start with the 7 ball and the 8 ball was made on the break then he would have to run the 7, 9 , 10, 11.

See how many attemps in a row he or any of the other TAR pros can run doing this.

Justin. I understand how busy you are and so in the spirit of all working together and unity I would be happy to help you interview the girls. There see Team player! I just love pool and want to help. ;)

I would highly recommend you contact Katie from Pool Sharks. She is very knowledgeable about pool and the players, she looks damn good when she does herself up, and she definitely has the gift of gab. I would have used her if our pool reality show ever got off the ground. Audition her and you might be pleasantly surprised. She's sharp as a tack and witty to boost.

Tina Pawloski would be another good candidate, but she is in San Diego and may not be available. Melinda (OMGWTF) would also be good if you could get her over there. One thing for sure, she wouldn't be afraid to ask a tough question!

I would definitely take Dennis for this proposition. I like him in this spot.

I need a new job. I think I will apply.

That would be really cool. Even something simple like recording top break speed or maximum draw for every player that comes through would be fun to see.

Question. Why does everything have to be a good looking woman.

Sex sells?

Same with the Bonus Ball girls. Every bar that I go to to play has the same two girls in them.
Save some money, turf their butts. What do they do, pull the odd ball out of a pocket. Thats the Refs job.

Myself, I would rather listen to a Tar Podcast with knowledgeable people that ask the proper questions of the players.

If I want to look at tatas or butt, I know where to find that. I listen to Tar for a reason. Pool.

Pool gives me big wood.

Of course, I'm 55 so glad that at least something can give me a big boner.

I'm sure that Justin lives to be your personal entertainment committee Corey

Get a group, give em the same material, do a dub overlay and pick your poison.

Template runout

Might not fly-but I would like to see a difficult runout layout set up on the table, probably 10 ball.

Have the players devise an agreed tough layout, then execute. Maybe 3 attempts. Extra credit for landing on a 4 inch radius circle of shape each shot.

Just a little trash talking, skills exhibition-points for getting out, more points for hitting the shape marks.

Might be fun.

Make sure you do the sofa interview also known as the casting couch.
