I've been well, thanks for asking, Kevin. I lost my wife of 47+ years Jan 1 this year after an extended illness. Now I've been re-evaluating everything in my life. I do come here almost daily but seldom post because it will be disregarded by the people it's intended for, they just regurgitate shamelessly. As far as the good guys on this forum when I do post it's a sign of support. Be well, my friend.
The book I recommended "The Eight Ball Bible" by R Givens is truly worth the read and
study of. Dedicated to the Bar Box and written when Heavy Balls were still in use (not so
much nowadays), but the info will work on larger tables as well. It doesn't cost much after
you consider the gains you get from it.
If your interested, I would like to send you a photo of a Schmelke I have here for sale. It is one heck of a hitting cue and is a four point cue. It is a special cue with the model # SPL-11, you can't find it anywhere.
Hi, saw your post about looking for a more fancy case. Are you looking for a JJ case only? I have a highly tooled 3x6 Myth, Elephant Ear with equisite tooling and I have another custom tooled medieval case that are both still brand new never used. I will send you pics shortly.
Good evening. You wrote on my profile about a case. A case I listed yesterday is sold and the thread was marked sold at the time you wrote the message on my profile. I'm sorry I could not make the sale to you. Thanks for your inquiry.
Check your regular emails...I sent you one about two weeks ago, nothing earth shattering...just a quick hello....bet it's in "spam"....Hope that you're okay.

Like the light, one question. How does the light effect your eyes when standing at the table ? Do you get like a harsh light effect as you set down to approach your shot?
Honestly my eyes are pretty comfortable under the light. The light output is pretty smooth, even look at the light directly no harsh light effect at all.
Hey Doug, I recently purchased a beautiful ebony cue that you built and wanted to tell you how much I enjoy playing with it. Playing the best pool of my life and feeling lucky to have one of your masterpieces in my bag!
