RIP Chad "Big Nasty" Pollman

RIP Chad. Never got to meet the man but I only heard good things about him via this forum. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed.

G-d bless,

Kevin

Big Chad was a hell of a good dude, I hate hearing about this today. The guy was outgoing and funny and just an all-around stand up person. We joked with him a lot but we did it knowing what a great guy he was and he was always laughed with, never at.

He was a friend to many here and it saddens me to know I will never have the pleasure of hanging out with Chad again.

RIP big guy, you will be missed.

RIP Nasty

We need to start appreciating our loved one's.
My condolences to his family and friends.
RIP my friend.

Wowww!!! This hits me hard as Chad and I texted often. We were just texting yesterday boasting on a few things as he loved one of the cars I have. Chad usually hits me back as I sent another text this morning with no response, so I thought maybe he was just busy today. Now I know!

Rest in peace "Dear Friend" as you will surely be missed. Pray for Family.

What a tremendous blow to the pool community. My deepest regrets to his family and the TAR Team.

First met Chad several years ago at the DCC when it was still at the Executive I believe. He was always a great guy to talk to and I spoke to him recently through some texts about cues, cases...etc. It seemed anything pool related was right up his alley and knowing as many people as he did he usually had some good information. Im glad we made the trip to Iowa when SVB played Frost and it was always nice to catch up at the DCC. Something like this makes you realize all the little things that will be missed, pm conversations, spur of the moment texts or just listening to commentary......life always seems to short and Chad will definitely be missed by the pool world over.

RIP Chad..

I was lucky enough to work with Chad in the Sioux Falls pool hall and play pool league with him for the better part of 3 or 4 years. During those years Chad and I became close friends and almost like brothers. Chad was never one of those people that felt he had to be polite... or that you had to be polite to him, if you disagreed on something he was the first to have a whole hearted arguement with his closest friends. The man was stubborn and stood up for whatever he believed in, which turned out to be very good for the pool community. Everyone that ever met the Chad would always remember him. As someone already stated, he was larger than life and mostly just refering to his personality. I was one of the lucky people to know him really well and spend days on end traveling to pool tournaments and just having a great time.

Chad - I hope you are looking down and betting the over on how many peoples lives you touched, because you rarely ever bet wrong.

Rest in Peace Brother...

Spencer

RIP Chad. My last trip to Derby I sat next to Chad in the TAR booth the whole time. We had a great time and even made some money. Our condolences go out to Chad's family and loved ones.
