Big nasty rip
Still thinking of all the hours spent working and talking smack with Big Nasty. Opened Breaktime Billiards in SD in 2000 and Chad ran the underage pool hall in the basement, he always enjoyed working with the juniors and the late night crowd (most nights he was there till 4 or 5am). What a perfect job for Chad who's going to mess with this man.
Chad was very popular with the pool community and will be missed not only in SD but worldwide. Just talked to him on the phone on Monday about BCA, pool leagues and casino tournaments. Glad I met the BIG man with a BIG heart and will always consider Chad a real friend.
We'll always remember BIG CHAD and there was nothing NASTY about Chad just very intimidating. That reminds me the first time I met Chad. I was in SD playing pool at the Nickel Spot with a buddy playing two top players in SD for 100.00 a set scotch doubles, we were up 3 or 4 sets but the tables were pretty close together and Chad was playing on the next table and was side betting on the locals. My partner kept running into Chad while shooting and was getting upset. He turned to me and asked if I had his back, even though I had a 12pack in me I said look at this man I want to walk out of here! By the end of the evening we were talking about opening a pool hall in SD. Glad to spend a small part of my life with Chad. RIP
